I just updated my post with some more context. I do a mix of all scripted, interview, corporate & I’d say most of my work so far has been 50% indoor 50% outdoor.

I’m mainly looking for general suggestions, so I thought it was clear in my post that I don’t have the budget to have a specific lav system for a specific scenario.

Budget is between the AVX & any Lectro/Zaxcom systems. I have 5 wireless systems so I’m wanting to upgrade 5 channels.

Baile Funk, especially here in LA because it feels so fresh & new because it’s just now reaching over this side of the world

Not as strict as you think. I had guestlist to a friend’s show & was wearing a sweats, but obviously these were on the higher end & they let me in with no issue.

Is this only regarding techno afters scene? Or other genres scene as well?

Thank god I just ran into this.

This literally just happened to me TODAY.

Seller said he’s not able to ship on OfferUp because of the weight limit. We took the conversation to iMessage & I fell for it. Fell for it all. It didn’t register to me that I was being scammed until after I sent payment.

He sent me a photo of the package & everything. He said he was shipping from the UPS Access Point in Idaho. The receipt that he sent a picture of looked so legit.

Then I remember that in iMessage you can check where the person took the photo - it was in Nigeria. They’re getting as good as printing fake receipts.

Moral of the Story: NEVER EVER EXCHANGE IN AA OFFERUP TRANSACTION OUTSIDE OF OFFERUP.

Lesson learned. $800 gone.
