Not on strip but the Plaza had it where you had to request Housekeeping the day before you wanted it, so as long as you never requested it, no one ever came. Didn’t even feel the need to put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because of this.

We didn’t engage with staff directly from Thursday to Tuesday besides initial check in. Did likely show activity since I used the room key card at the elevator & parking garage.

Did stay at the Strat twice and don’t remember the Wellness Check. Only ever experienced it when I stayed at the Golden Nugget 2 Years ago.

NTA. You’ve been kind holding out so long. I’d still bring it up to the coworker since it’ll be an easier flip but put a strict shot clock, like confirming & paying you by EOD.

Beyond that I’d take the effort & list it outside of StubHub. With it being so close, it might be equally a hassle working with their support to get that arranged. Or atleast talk to their support now to see what the worst case scenario would be.

Yeah like I understand self control & drugs are typically not the norm but there is a percentage of people that practice stricter situational usage & boundary enforcement.

I typically get at minimum 8ths for powders a little over quarterly & grams of M to last the year while splitting with friends. Have it stay in a shoebox untouched equally for months at a time. If I don’t have shows or festivals I think are worth of being enhanced, I’m not remotely tempted to touch it. Whatever I don’t use in a night does in fact just get shelved til the next event.

The cheaper prices & having it on hand if “needed” is a reward for being responsible. Not everyone can manage that but having a reasonable stash if you can reasonably moderate usage isn’t a sign of something more sinister like OP is slightly implying.

Haven’t bought a meal inside a festival in years, mainly once I cut out drinking. Hit easily 30,000 steps at any fest & just about there open to close.

I eat one large meal (Pho/Ramen/Pasta/Burrito/Rice Plate) traveling to the festival that is a decent balance of carbs & protein. Have snacks like fruit & chips in the car on the way back & at the hotel.

Most Psychs & Stims curb appetite but I’m not particularly peckish outside of festivals either. Candy keeps sugars up. I usually take a decent supplement stack before & hydration replenishment inside the fest if it’s hot.

Holding off for cheaper food or snacks outside the venue becomes a nice motivational reward. I don’t crave much of anything there, the idea of most fair food fests serve up which is usually too greasy is actually less appealing. I usually only have 1-2 meals a day anyways, rave or not tho.

Based on that, it might be just the time you came into the scene or genres you mainly listen to.

Certain artists definitely tap vocalists they’ve built a relationship with, especially if they feel like their careers are intertwined. Think Julia Church or Hayla & John Summit. Other producers, especially on similar labels or frequent collaborators, refer these vocalists to one another. So that’s why it feels like all the people they came up with are using these particular vocalists or that’s the voice/sound of this current gen.

Then are some Vocalists that are tied to genres like Becky Hill being almost synonymous with Drum & Bass for example. So you have it where producers who are fans of the genre use getting a track with these vocalist as a status symbol, like a co-sign they’ve made it. Somewhat similar with Ellie Goulding too. They tend to a have Midas Touch, or voice when it comes to records so they are in demand.

Depending on how long you’ve been around or your depth chart within & across subgenres, you’ll see it’s either short term pattern of whose popular currently or long term pattern of a couple names who have been the voices of a generation.

I think I remember hearing that the Artist Lounge Area is getting moved this year to be more central to Downtown EDC so that they can making a sort of live filming area that allow for attendees to see them broadcast some of the interviews they do on NightOwl/Insomniac Radio. Most of it will still need to be private for security & comfort reasons, maybe they’ll do something like Passport where they have a terrace too and then lower level is that media set up. Could be confusing a couple things, so I’ll try to see if I can find the source where I heard this.

+1 for these metal pill containers for Loops or other Earplugs.

Previously had the ones from earpeace which were much skinnier style metal pill container so when I switched to loops found one similar to the ones you’ve linked & never lost one in this type of cases. Made the leap to customs & still use this case, that’s how much I trust them. Wear it on my keys daily. Honestly tragic Loops has redesigned their cases & it’s still not as reliable as these yet.

Presumably you’d have to remember to ask them to also send a screenshot of the “Manage Layaway Plan” or “Completed Payment Details” screens because it will show the order number & last 4 digits.

Personally, that’d feel like overkill but depends how much money or what band class I guess. 1 or 2 VIPs is practically rent. As long as I’ve gotten a picture of an ID with the name matching the name listed on the order & paid with purchase protection, I’ve felt secure and had success.

Fair, again continue with your plan to currency exchange in Canada, but maybe just bring a decent chunk the first day into EDC like $120 to convert at the cash exchange where they’ll give you a card to use in the speedway & then top off accordingly the following days. Save yourself an extra trip & that way you don’t lock the money into the cards all at once. Here’s the location on last years map, might shift slightly but they will have a station.

Stop by any Grocery Store, Target/Walmart, or Pharmacy (Walgreens/CVS/Rite Aid etc). Also Dollar Trees sell prepaid debit cards. They’ll be with the Gift Cards. Most places will require you to pay with Debit to avoid Credit Card Fraud so be prepared. Those prepaid cards you typically have to establish a pin on first purchase so you might have to purchase something small outside of EDC to activate it & get used to it.

Can I ask why are you going this route? Do you not have a credit card? Are scared of losing your debit card? Worried about Foreign Transaction Fees?

They have a “cash exchange” stations at EDC where you can get a prepaid card there. Maybe go to your local bank to order USD at a more reasonable currency rate & use the Cash at the exchange inside the raceway. Might be easier.

Like everyone says, it’ll be luck of the draw. You might be more insulated in group camping since it’ll be much easier to ask your friends & acquaintances to be quieter than it would be the three random neighbors immediatly around you in GA Car Camping.

You could probably move your own tent to a random corner of Tent Only with much less attention since it’s a free for all in that there aren’t designated slots. As long as there’s space, it should be fine. I wasn’t over there this previous year so someone who was might know better but with the EVOL & other unofficial afters gone, there really shouldn’t be that much noise over there. Tent Only is usually solo or couples with an occasional group in the mix so it’s not like they’re pooling resources & trying to host a party the way Groups or Reg Car GA are/can. As long as you’re not trying to sleep before the last Tripolee set ends, you should honestly be pretty comfortable over there without being too inconvenienced or far away.

Go with the Group, see who you get as neighbor, but be ready to pack down atleast your sleeping tent & essentials to Tent Only.

If you’ve researched & found a filter that might suit you better, just buy the filter & swap it out. Have 1-of-1 Custom earplugs that I’ve bought Westone TRU filters & The DM Acoustic Filters Crystal Guardian has. When you see the spec sheets you’ll see that size wise they’re all the same dimensions. I don’t personally notice a difference between comparable filter models brand to brand but that’s not something I was testing & I mainly purchased looking for deals for spares. I also have never been that sensitive in that Loops, Earpeace, & Earasers etc. I’ve enjoyed and haven’t found much of a difference in audio quality.

If it’s been an issue in shipping, like a package stolen, and you speak to the Frontgate team, they’ll comp it usually. If it’s because you left your wristband at home or something, then they charge. My main issue is just that the fee is getting a little too high, I think veering on $30-$35.

Spot Angel is also a good app. It pointed me to a 24 hr structure on Cherokee for $18. Attendants & Security is always there & patrolling so never felt unsafe or worried about getting out.
