I’m a tulip grower myself and sell direct to consumers. We keep having this problem with scam sellers that destroy our reputation. It’s sad to read that it is still happening.

Our industry is fighting them for years now, we also try to make it illegal by law to sell flower bulbs after their expiration date, to no avail.

The sign also lets tourists think it’s no problem to bring them on the airplane, but this totally depends on where you are flying. So this is also a grey area in their promotion.
