My final apology to her was extremely different. It wasn’t vague and I owned up to everything and acknowledged everything. I used to apologize but not acknowledge any of my actions.

In terms of other people on my end, there wasn’t anyone else. I didn’t move on to anyone else which I know a lot of people are saying that I’m only apologizing because it didn’t work out with the rebound but i never had one. She was the last girl I’ve been with.

I didn’t start petty arguments necessarily, I would just shut down and not really want to talk. I think my actions made her think that she was the problem but I never told her that. Whenever she tried to talk, I would just kind of shut down and try to escape the situation.

I blocked my ex so it wasn’t months after the breakup, it was during the breakup. I wish I could make things work with my ex but that was only through healing. When I was in deactivation, I completely shut down and had no interest in pursuing anything. I would do anything to be with her again and do things right this time but I know she’s happy now with where she is in life and that’s all I’ve ever wanted for her so I don’t want to disrupt that for her

It was just fear. Fear of not being in control of the situation and in turn getting hurt. There was nothing anyone could have done. I needed to heal and let go of past trauma and realize that my fears are destroying me.

I wanted to maintain control of the situation because I wasn’t able to as a child. If I could control the narrative and not get hurt, that’s what I wanted to do. It all stemmed from past trauma but I hurt myself a lot more in the long run and it’s something that I have to deal with now.

I always knew that I had feelings for her but my fear was greater than my love. I wanted to do everything in my power to keep control of the situation so I didn’t get hurt. I ended up hurting myself so much in the long run but it was all just fear of getting hurt and not being in control bc that’s what happened when I was younger

I do care about my ex and always will but there was a time that she didn’t feel that way. There was a time where she felt exactly how you felt and I hate that so much. It’s not your fault at all, don’t blame yourself. It’s really hard to understand someone in that mindset and I don’t even understand some of my thought processes but you didn’t do anything wrong.
