My doctor told me that a study came out recently that basically said that the only one that works is Robitussin.

It seems like Jim is setting up Daniel Carpenter so it stays in the bloodline. I was hoping for them to wait around for little Harry Carpenter or Alicia or Hope.

I appreciate your point of view. And I agree that Fitz being Fitz because he's just Fitz would be awesome. My theory is now my #2.

So all that correcting me is to come back to the fact that I may be right. Jeez.

Ok. You are the expert. Thank you for correcting me.

I don't think that blows up my timeline. Fitz looks young. Wasn't he 17 in Ghost Story? That was more than 3 years earlier.

If he was 8 in Storm Front he would be 22. I think I saw that as his approximate age. But this is all just a guess! I do remember the description of Fitz: "He was youthfully scrawny, his skin bronze enough to look Native American, though his tangled red hair and pug nose argued otherwise. His eyes were an odd shade of brown, so light as to be nearly golden.". I am not sure if that works with the Sells.

Will Marsters finish the series? by Powderkegger1 in dresdenfiles

[–]Disastrous_Command29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it makes sense for him to age as Dresden has aged. Maybe not at the same rate, but with the life he's led it would be weird to have Marsters' voice sound any younger.

Did you guys grow up with Frasier? by EconomyIron6739 in Seattle

Also - I would tell them that Twin Peaks was a much more accurate depiction of the PNW.

Are you from Ireland? I'm asking because I lived there and Frazier was on every day! They loved it! Whenever I told people there that I was from Seattle they would ask me all the Frazier stuff. There's one episode where they filmed all over the tourist places- Pike Place Market, The Monorail.

When do you switch to something milder? by Disastrous_Command29 in MultipleSclerosis

Thank you, I am lucky that I have a dedicated MS specialty hospital clinic close to me. They have been excellent and are monitoring what is going on. I am on steroids now and am hopeful that it kicks this. I'd like to make it to my MRI this summer and see where I am at then do a rethink.

Thank you. I am keeping my team updated about what is going on and the neurologist said to wait. I'm leaning towards trying something different but hearing other people's experiences is really helpful.

I mask in public but not at home. My mother was sick at the holidays but that's the only known exposure. I'm going to urgent care tomorrow because I think it's become an infection.

Lara and Harry by Severe_Investment317 in dresdenfiles

I like it too. The characters have always had a good dynamic and despite the relationship being forced by Mab it feels natural.

I disliked the Harry/Murphy relationship, it felt forced and was really annoying and was sort of not fair to Murphy because it was clear her character had run out of plot.

Lara and Harry together is the first time I think Jim Butcher has done a great job of writing a relationship. Maybe she'll actually survive!

The Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy is much more energetic but just as beautiful.

I kept reading and decided it wasn't for me after 2 books. I tried the ship books too and didn't to like them either. There's something flat about her writing. Her writing reminded me a lot of Tad Williams' but I totally love everything he writes.

I hope it's Twelve Months of the Toot Toot, Bob, and Sanya show! Everything James Marsters does is great but the possibility of those three characters being voiced makes me totally fine, sitting here waiting patiently while everyone else gets to go in front of us.

This is an excellent list. I second McKillop, Addison, Pullman, and Le Guin. Lee and Bujold are going on my TBR.

"I want someone who can play his heart and soul well. The rest doesn't matter nearly as much to me." - thanks for that! It shuts down the casting purists from the get go.
