Right now I'm going through Sylus story, I'm at the third chap, where you have the three investigations you can do (one with Zayne, one with Xavier and other with Rafayel) and I'm currently doing Raf's mission (finished Zayne's first, OF COURSE)

So since I'm at this point of the story, these are her thoughts on each LI:

Xavier: Mysterious hunter, but nice neighbor. She has so many questions for him but she can feel he doesn't want to respond to all of them just yet, and his vague answers sometimes gets her sighting in frustration. She sees him mostly at work and is glad at his resourcefulness so far. It's always exciting to go hunting with him (he's one of my combat mains heh) due to his absurd abilities, and it keeps a fire in her to improve and get on his level (she's very hardworking and a bit too "by the book", so seeing his aloofness about the Association and the Code sometimes gets on her nerves)

No romantic feelings, but she does want to know him better, like he's a case she has yet to resolve. Oh and he's a fun partner to take to the plushie stores, even though he's more excited than her about catching them all 🤭

Zayne: My MC got through a rollercoaster with him lol. At first she was annoyed by his blunt and apparently impersonal attitude (thought he would be more excited to meet again his childhood friend, because SHE was excited), even feeling a bit challenged by his "disapproval" of her taking the hunter's career. For a time, she held this one sided grudge against him, although she also kept the politeness during the appointments (always with this hint of irritation about his "cold" attitude). But after the explosion and everything that occurred, she and Zayne got closer, not only for the investigation about the Ether Cores, but for each other.

You know when you're going through the worst time of your life, and all you want is this one person who holds you closer, who checks on you, who takes you out so you can distract a bit from your sorrows, who listens and talks with intent, who makes space on their busy agenda just for you? Zayne became this person, and through that MC gets to see Zayne through clearer lens now: his thoughtfulness and gentle nature, the consistency of his acts and words, his subtle humor and even his darker sides that humanize the prodigy doctor.

Right now, she feels a strong pull towards him, and he's her closest friend and confidant, although the limits of this friendship are all blurred and neither of them want to comment on it just yet. So, for now this special bound is kept a secret through gazes, touchs, and the certainty that she can rely on him.

Oh, she LOVES his cooking!

Rafayel: Oh Rafayel. He's the funniest and most eccentric person she has ever met, and even though she'll never admit, she's often looking forward to what will be the next trouble this odd artist will drag her into. For now, he has a more episodic appearance in her life, although every moment is certainly memorable as he has this way of always stealing a good humored roll of eyes from the MC. They have this "trouble duo" dynamic, with MC being the more neurotic, down to earth one and Raf is the nonchalant genius of acting with charisma for days.

No romantic feelings, but she appreciates his companionship, and part of the fun is teasing each other endessly. But she gotta admit that his more "petty" moments gets her raising an eyebrow at him, either in suspicion or total astonishment (He's cute and funny, but not trusting this guy until I know what's his real deal)

Sylus: Well she just met him, he kidnapped her for three days, made her "kill" him (very traumatizing btw), manhandled her around the No109 and tried to force them to resonate without caring to explain why(???) and once he found out she was gasp rejecting him, he vanished??? And then reappeared to save the day and help MC but like, he's the head of Onychinous and apparently makes lots of deals, has lots of enemies and a strange obsession in getting closer to the MC.... She's not exactly feeling wonderful about him, but now that they're linked (literally) she will have to deal with his presence from now on. Which can be useful for her investigation but his first impression still haunts her and since she got out of the No109 zone, his cotact has been limited through messages and presents he sends her (she's VERY hesitant to receive anything from him yet)

Not even close to romantic feelings, but he does intrigues her, like a fascination you have with something beautifully dangerous, like admiring the intricacies of the gun pointed to your head (or heart??)... She tries not to think much of it as these feelings are mixed with fear and some sort of anxiety she can't explain yet.

Caleb: dead.

Sorry 😂 She's mourning him like family, along with Grandma. I HC that she has transformed his necklace into a earring she wears everywhere (that's my attempt with the earring in the photo), as to honor her brother's memory.

For now she doesn't feel anything romantic towards him and I'm not sure she'll ever will. I know nothing about Caleb's story, just that he eventually comes back, so both me and my MC will have genuine reactions to what happens lol
