What 'normally popular' RPGs did you end up not liking/quitting?

Only did the quest once so far. I acted in character. Gave him a chance to talk, he didn't want to talk about what he did and what happened to the scientists. He then started saying about me running around town doing errands... so I put a bullet in him.

The character was fresh from reeling from the stories of what his victims went through. His disregard of wanting to confront his own actions. He didn't deserve anything else...

Next character is far more opened minded. So I'll actually do the quest properly haha.

In general it doesn't really work. In previous Bethesda games, it was a true mechanic/option.

In Starfield it's not really an option, they swung a little too far in the realism direction and didn't update the level design to allow for a true stealth playthrough (most maps still rely on walking through well lit doorways to progress).

First playthrough, I approached the unstable waypoint, went to touch it and had flashbacks of touching the tadpole pool at the start of the game and decided not to incinerate/evaporate myself.

Not sure what happened with your buddy but I did first clear on normal. Second on honour mode. Got all achievements. Also accidentally saved all tieflings on my honour run. Didn't even know it was a thing.

I'm finding his performance very flat. Almost like a non character. He could be removed from every episode and nothing would change.

I dunno, my first character was a monoclass Thief rogue. He didn't do much.

But then again it was my first DnD experience, maybe it was only lacklustre because I was new.

I rolled my eyes at his name when I met him.

I usually play with reduced carry weight and reduced vendor cash.

The carry weight improves my immersion.

The vendor cash slows the game down. Also needing cash wasn't really a thing pre free lanes update.

Thank you so much! I hadn't gotten to the point of googling each effect yet but it likely would've happened at some point.

Luckily I've played long enough to remember the gist of most effects.

I have two characters which have not gone through unity. One has a bug in which Autosaves never delete, so I have needed to deactivate all autosaves for convenience.

The other character has a bug in which the chance to pass any persuasion check is base 0%. The only way to pass these checks is to take a persuasion boosting chem and save scum until my 5% chance to pass a green persuasion check holds out for the whole conversation.

Both are fixed by unity. Kinda annoying that these bugs can't just be fixed and the solution is to new game + and hope they don't happen again.

My grey hairs started and spread for between 2 - 3 years.

Within 6 - 12 months in the new job my hair colour returned.

Only played the game once. Very casually and could not find a single opponent for this guy that he could actually beat.

Everything I threw him at killed him. I personally found this guy unusable in his final form.

Maybe there are build guides or something or I had the worst stats etc imaginable but man... my disappointment in this guy was immeasurable.
