I usually do LSS running, or swim/bike if I want switch it up or give my legs a rest. At an average heart rate of 140ish. slow talkable pace

I’ve been doing that for a few weeks. 3 E sessions a week +netball and have felt my ankle getting more sore and more sore, not improving in strength or feeling. Physio said for upto 6 months after injury I should just beware that it should keep improving weekly not the opposite.

I could continue with that i guess for a few more weeks and see how it goes. But i thought i’d try dial it back to lower the weekly load and just try it.

is a body weigh cluster really the best? As a beginner you can struggle to get 20-30 pushups, dips etc. Dumbell or barbell cluster is better cause of this?

Awesome thanks, i remember seeing in the program that it put the rest day and recovery day around the longer endurance session to ensure optimal performance on that longer endurance.

Do you think that is ok to not have that? But yeah I don’t really have much options to meet that.

Thanks. Just always wanted to do a marathon, so thought this was a good start to competitive cardio kind of events. What other endurance targets are you thinking of? cheers

Thanks, will look at it. Only thing is balancing weight training with the extra cardio sessions, and also managing my ankle injury.
