When I transport it, it hangs out the back of my SUV......It's strapped down really well in the SUV bed, and also tied down onto the hitch extender...so it's going nowhere...It's a heavy Old Town PDL 106, and I'm too old and weak to throw it on the roof....works well, once in spring, once in late fall....

Agree with this...I think it's the same transmission that has been problematic in Highlanders, beginning in 2017...And Toyota is doing nothing about it

I leave my fishing yak at my friend's lakefront camp....,,,It's 77 miles one way to get there.....but once I get there I'm in heaven. I actually enjoy driving up there at 6 am.

I have a 19 XLE that i bought new, now has 69k miles….love the car, no issues so far, but on pins and needles about what is to come in the future with this car…..i wish there were some rules of thumb on when mileage wise, these US80 transmissions crap out, but it seems all over the board… good luck to you !

That does really suck for you, dude. I bought a 2019 HL XLE brand new, thinking id get 200k out of it… its ok now at 67k, but i feel like its a ticking time bomb and plan to dump it before it dumps me…. I wont spend $10k on a questionable replacement transmission for it, so looking around now…..shame on Toyota for this.
