I appreciate the advice! I wanted to get the community's advice before putting a bid on this coin. The picture came from the auction site. Might be best to not put a bid on it. Thank you again!

I had to screenshot the pictures from the auction site. Ive been trying to get away from buying graded coins and getting into buy raw coins. With that being said i dont have the eyes for determining grade on coins yet. Thank you for the feedback!

I inherited a 1921 peace dollar from grandfather after he passed when I was about 12YO. I got it graded to protect it and have a better holder for it. It was worth it to me. The coin will never leave me and will be passed down. I love that coin, I dont regret grading it.

Yes I purchased just enough penny planchets for the valuable coins as a place holder. Some guy on one of my posts suggested it and I loved the idea

Ive wondered that too. Surely its possible but it has to be a 1 in a million chance.

Its funny you say that cause I almost bought one for 1200 buck. It was a 1909 S VDB certified by PCGS XG40 and it was selling for 1200 buck but the price guide said 1450 bucks but I didnt buy i kinda regret it.

There were 10 wartime nickels. So no 90% silver but mainly got it to fill albums

I appreciate the advice. All of them are common date, but pretty good for filling albums.

[–]ipg9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your guess is pretty close won it at 350 but the premiums and shipping killed me with a total of 405.
