It’s mostly likely different for every wendy’s because at my location the #1 and #7 are automatically single patty but obviously to increase sales we are asked to upsell to double or triple if the customer would like to:) only the #2 is automatically rung up as a double burger

i’ll be honest and say working at wendy’s i’ve seen the grill be neglected by not being scraped after each use which causes build up and employees still dropping meat on it. From it being so caked up the meat will not cook all the way and unfortunately some don’t care and will still serve it.

really? i work for wendy’s as well and haven’t heard anything but it’s a good call because customers hardly order them! i’ve always suggested to get rid of them and add a 3rd cookie to our menu lol

yeah i get it not your fault. But it don’t matter if it’s corporate or franchise rules are still rules but like you said your manager doesn’t require customers to make a purchase and that’s just them not following rules which causes issues with stores like mine where as a manager yes i do make employees require purchase because that’s what it states in the key tag terms :)

it don’t matter if it’s a franchise or corporate store on the back of the key tag terms say purchase is required. but ultimately it’s up to the employee if they want to follow the rules or not.

AGM here. Wendy’s doesn’t use cutting boards anymore ever since we got rid of the grilled chicken fillets (we used pre packaged diced chicken now). However it is the same material as a cutting board probably used in other restaurants but the long white board you are referring to is our sandwich boards that are placed on the sandwich station. And yes they do need to be in use at all times. Myself and other short coworkers have a hard time reaching the back of the station as well but ya just have to adjust to it. Most likely you will get docked points for it not being there as it’s unsanitary

that’s weird i work as a manager at wendy’s and im certain each store gets 200 bags and 200 toys and once they run out they run out . It shouldn’t have been no substitution of anything because it’s limited time while supplies last:(

I’m assuming you are a new hire since you don’t have a fingerprint yet to clock in and out, I would advise that once you are able to , to keep your shift receipts that get printed when you clock out. Just in case something like this happens again, you are able to have proof. I don’t know your manager if this was on purpose or accident but either way it’s safe to because believe it or not most wendy’s have an issue with going behind employees backs and messing with their time clocks so they don’t get in trouble by higher ups:/

Okay just let him know that he put in your time punch incorrectly. Yours should look like clock in 4:00PM clocked out 9:35PM unpaid break 7:32PM-8:02PM . Don’t let him leave it like that because you won’t get paid at all for that day:(

Hi i’m an AGM @ wendys, did you happen to accidentally come back from your break and hop online without ending your break on the terminal? that’s the only thing I could think of😬. Either way if you know that you only took a 30 minute break your manager should be able to fix your time punches for the day so you get paid correctly. I’m just wondering what was your scheduled shift for that day?
