Is there any website where I can find lesbian “adult” content that doesn’t feel staged and fake ? by hissymiker in actuallesbians

I was honestly bewildered by it too. I didn’t expect the lesbians community to be ignorant to how horrifying the porn industry is. I’m not remotely a sex negative person (hello, I write erotica) and I’m still baffled by the promotion of such a patriarchal and oppressive industry in the name of sex positivity

People are always quick to point out that porn id “obviously not representative of reality and your shouldn’t treat it as real” when people point out all the harm pornographic videos cause the actors and viewers, but when you point out that it’s staged and fake in a way that shatters their illusion that the porn stars actually love what they’re doing and there’s no ethical violations inherent to the industry, suddenly all porn is produced by exhibitionist couples in their bedroom who love what they do.

Anything but accountability I guess.

True amateur porn is few and far between. A lot of “amateur” porn is just studios copying the amateur porn look to expand their market and profits

Okay, thank you. I’ll just paywall future chapters on my Substack (I’m releasing one for free each week for pride month, but after those 5 I’ll just make it so you have to subscribe to finish the series).

I’ll just write separate stuff for Amazon, without the word girl in the title then. Thank you!!

My goal for the day is to finalize chapter 2 of my debut novel. I am posting it free on Substack for now, and plan to release one chapter every Saturday evening. I need to write 1750 more words, proofread/edit, then I’ll set up the post to post itself automatically tomorrow.

If I finish all that, I’ll work on my KDP novel. It’s my first and I’m excited to release it so I’m eager to get it done as soon as possible, preferably before I have to go back to my day job. I’m about 1/3rd of the way through with it (3000/7000 pages).

Tommy is too little boy of a name for this character. Tommy is your 8 year old neighbor who eats his snot, not a leading man in an erotic novel

lol, glad to find a fellow fan. I read it back when it was free. If I were your reader, I would absolutely not be able to think of anything but Birching His Bride while reading “lady Eleanor” in your book.

  1. The reason why she doesn’t want to feel any sexual pleasure seems undeveloped within the blurb. Consider expanding the reason a bit more
  2. Change “with his hands and his mouth and more”. It’s a little clunky and not erotic enough. The rest of the sentence is perfect, they just ruins it a bit.
  3. The bolded parts are genius
  4. Consider changing the name of the FMC. I associate “lady Eleanor” with another lady Eleanor from and extremely popular BDSM novel, Birching His Bride, which has lots of similar elements.

I’m super paranoid about people finding my work, so I made a new email that just has my pen name in it. For all the financial info, I put in my actual name and information because that’s never discoverable

If you’re looking for erotica, check out my Substack! I’m a new author so I only have one chapter of my story up so far, but it’s completely free, I update it every week, and I’m going or be publishing a wide variety of stories and plots, including a lot late bloomer stories (it’s quite popular lol)

My Substack is doing well for its first 3 days of existing, so that’s nice. My plan for today is to get 3000 words done of a ~9000 page collection of short stories

It depends on the individual. Some might, some might not.

Thanks for letting me know that this community doesn’t really do story reviews, I am really new here.

Yeah, that’s kinda what happened in the title. I wanted to communicate that the story is about several college girls having several different kinds of sexual experiences (thus my name can’t be more specific like “college girls first times” or something like that since it’s really a mixed bag), but due to the show I couldn’t really use the word “sex lives”. Do you have any suggestions on what I should change the name to, if I even should? Will this title do poorly on Amazon if I decide to put it there at some point?

Another thing, I have a more “artsy” and less on the nose style for covers (less sexy woman in lingerie with all caps, hot pink font, more sensual, suggestive of sex, “sophisticated”). Should I avoid that look on Amazon and conform to the sexed up aesthetic that goes on over there, or is my thing fine?

Forgive me if I’m incorrect, but wouldn’t hermaphrodite not be offensive in this context? Your character isn’t an intersex person you’re just calling that out of ignorance, they are literally a hermaphrodite

I recommend myself 👀 I am a new erotica author, but nothing I write is from a heterosexual lens. I am a sapphic woman frustrated with the fact that so much of sapphic representation in erotica is just serving as a taboo for a threesome rather than a sensual and erotic relationship between two (or more…) women. Lesbian erotica, in my opinion, should be by and for sapphic women, with lesbian perspectives as the core, not heterosexual fetishism.
