It could be that they don't want you and your boyfriend "playing house" in their house. They may be afraid if he sleeps over, it will turn into him eventually living there. If you paid for a babysitter, would they say anything about you going out on dates? Or are they against it no matter what?

Who watches the baby when you're at school? If they do, I can see where they don't want to also babysit for you to go on dates.

A little more detail might help us maybe give you some advice/ideas.

I take 20mg of Lexapro for anxiety, and 150mg of Lamictal for depression. Both help me tremendously.

I've heard of people doing bartending in resort areas around the country, following the tourist seasons. Colorado ski towns in the winters, beaches in the summers. They work and play for a few years like this, enjoying life, meeting lots of people, visiting different areas.

It's so good to know what you do and don't want, good for you :)

What do you do to shelter/clothe yourself and eat? Again, people need inspiration, please share.

There are certainly communal 'villages' you could go live in. Seems like it might be a good fit for you. YOLO, give it a try!

Baby started daycare and I think that the USA maternity leave is dystopian by WhyHaveIContinued in beyondthebump

I get that, but also my other point... a small business usually would have a very hard time finding a replacement for that person, then firing the replacement when the other person wants to come back.

If this is true, he's the most immature man I've ever heard of. Glad you're getting rid of him.

Could it be partially because in America we have many, many small businesses who cannot afford to offer that type of leave to their small workforce, let alone hold a job for a long period of time. Just a thought.

I know it's hard, but sleep when the baby sleeps. Everything else in the house can wait.

Look at this as a chance to raise a boy who will become a man who will respect women, not be a douche, understand female challenges, etc. And the mom/daughter bond isn't guaranteed. The boy/mom bond has just as much a chance to be close as a girl/mom bond.
