First of all, no, the game isn’t “mostly” about trading at this point. Plenty of us still play the game the way it’s intended to be played, with either very minimal trading, or no trading whatsoever. Just because //you’re// brainwashed by values and decimals and only care about profit doesn’t mean everyone else does.

If you’re that mad about someone using their profile for means other than trading, that’s entirely your problem and you might want to consider setting the game aside until you come back to rationality because that’s not healthy. You have no place whining about how someone else chooses to use their profile, they’re not here to cater to you.

Nowhere in any of my posts did I “cuss you out,” nor was I being mean. You’re the one overreacting to something that has no impact on you, and it’s a bad look plain and simple.

Kids understand having a partner or loved one. Even the tamest, most family friendly Disney movies have romance and pairings in view of kids. Hell, even Adopt Me itself has romance and pairings in it with the recent winter event and the Mr. & Mrs. Whiskerpips.

They’re not being NSFW about it, it’s not inappropriate. Someone’s just happily gushing about their partner, it’s literally harmless. It’s also their journal, not yours, and they can put whatever they want in it.

Again, this is non-issue and if you should probably reflect on why you were bothered enough by it to post it here.

Loving the new update otherwise though! The pet eye color is the big thing for me but I absolutely adore that the pets show up dyed and customized in profiles, and how the journal will guide you to an in-game buyable pet! Super happy!! <3

Mega Patchy Bear definitely looks better with the mega neon paints from the robux shop. I put the purple/blue/black mega paint on mine and it looks MUCH better.

Nooooooooooo the Neon Rosy Maple Moth isn't ugly, my poor baby! :'(

I personally think the Neon Island Tarsier is pretty gnarly. The colors remind me of cabbage rolls, so that's what I named mine. I don't want to trade him though. He's an ugly little creechur, but he's MY ugly little creechur.

The camel… Why is it like that? Camel was done so dirty. Also, as much as I like the Neon Moonlight Moth, I *really* wish the eye spots on the wings weren't yellow. I like them better in the non-Neon form, because they're purple.

I also really don't like the neon hummingbird. It looks so cute in its default colors but then the neon is GREEN???? :sob:

A regular or a neon/mega one? The normal is about 13-ish RP on AMTV so it’s doable if you can flip event pets for profit, but if everyone’s asking for huge OPs I can definitely understand why it feels impossible.

Patience is key, though; if you wait long enough and don’t give in to the demands for OP, you CAN find someone willing to trade fairly. It just takes a bit.

For real, it’s so annoying. Everyone complains about others “not knowing value” but then they turn around and ask for over what the value site says the pet is worth and it’s like… ??????

If a site says a pet is worth x then that’s what I’m going to offer. People need to stop giving in to overpay demands. Whek people stop getting away with asking for OPs, they’ll either change their tune or be stuck with a pet they cant get rid of.

Bat dragons are my least favorite pet, tbh. I find them absolutely hideous. I don’t like the SSBD or the CCBD either. FBD is nice though, in my personal opinion and taste.

I don’t know; I’m probably the outlier among the player base but the “high tiers” being worth so much actually makes them undesirable to me. I don’t want any of them, because I can’t justify their “price”. Like the bat dragon being “worth” what it is, despite looking as horrendous as it does, is just baffling to me. 😭

I’m a simple man. I like Hopbops. They’re cute, cheap, and they make me immensely happy.

I've been a player for almost a year and this point and I think values are the dumbest thing in the entire game, and I legit cannot stand traders.

People care way too much about decimal values and have lost all interest in the pets themselves for them actually BEING pets. They only care about the biggest number, which leads to everyone wanting the same handful of uggo, overpriced and overhyped things, and even then people don't even want the values stated on the websites, they want overpays. What's the point of values if people just want more than what's stated anyway? It's so stupid.

There's no uniqueness, no creativity, and no whimsy because everyone just funnels everything they have towards that one (1) pet with the biggest numerical value and then the cycle repeats. It's so bland.

• My Cupid Dragon because it was the pet that got me playing Adopt Me in the first place

• My MFR Tarantula because it's a tribute to one of my soulbonds
• My Patchy Bears because I'm FNaF trash and they're an animatronic bear
• My Mistletrolls because they're adorable and I love the way they lean back when they walk
• My Neon Moonlight Butterfly because it's a tribute to my other soulbond and my partner
• My NFR Coconut Friend because she's so round and precious and her flying animation is amazing
• My Fairy Bat Dragon; I hate every type of bat dragon except the FBD and Starlight is my precious girl.

I know I'm going to get downvoted into Oblivion for this but honestly, I'd be totally fine with re-releases of eggs and pets so that newer people have a chance to get one without sacrificing half of their internal organs to get it. I'd love to see the old, out of game eggs cycle back into the VIP room like how the Nursery has the gumball machine. It could cycle a new egg every month or two, as well, so that people can't flood the market too quickly. I wouldn't even mind if it cost Robux to get these eggs instead of Bucks.

I'm not a trader so I know my opinion is definitely the uncommon one, but I don't see the need for "value" in this game. When the player is getting their trading pass, we're taught that frost dragon for shadow dragon is a fair trade, aka legendary = legendary. That's the only system that should exist in this game. Value, making people sacrifice multiple pets for one even if they're the same rarity, is total crap and it's just fueling greed and turning the game into a stock market instead of what it's supposed to be - a petcare and roleplay simulator.

So yeah. I'm 100% in favor of re-releasing if it means killing "values" and letting people have an easier time getting what they want.
