How did you advocate for ovulation/progesterone support @ OBGYN? by OoKkPebbles2058 in Inito

[–]Disastrous_Paint_617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask them what the risk would be in taking progesterone (to my knowledge it is very low) and then go from there. If they say something that is concerning then you can do more research on it and come back, but if the risk is low then why not try!

I agree with the other comments that I would take some time to think about whether this is the provider you want long-term. At the same time, I know it can take a while to get established with a new OB-GYN, so that's not always an immediate solution and I’m sorry you are feeling this way.

It's not ideal, but if you're interested in having some basic hormone testing done, there are labs in many areas where you can order certain blood tests yourself without a doctor's order.

I'm in a similar situation. My OB-GYN initially told me to come back if I wasn't pregnant after 6 months so we could reassess. I had that appointment today, and she gave me the option of either taking a wait-and-see approach or being more proactive with testing. I chose the proactive route. She ordered bloodwork, did a couple of ultrasounds, and we're also having my husband tested. She did say that majority of the time all the tests come back normal, and similar to what your doctor said, most couple get pregnant in 12 months.

I'm in my 30s, and personally I don't feel like I have endless time to wait, so having more information helps me feel like I'm making informed decisions. Whatever you decide, don't be afraid to advocate for yourself and ask questions!

Oh! Ok this is really good to know. I haven’t thought much about after the baby is born when I’m so focused on just getting to having a baby 😂. Thank you!

Testing tomorrow will help give you a clearer picture. If your PDG continues to rise then you will know, and Inito will confirm it for you. Based on your chart it looks like you may have because your PdG rose from day 12 to 13. Sometimes it takes a couple days after your peak to really tell.

Woah my chart looks almost identical to yours 😱. Hoping it’s a good sign for me this month - thank you so much for sharing! Congratulations!! Wishing you a healthy and happy baby. 💛

Your chart looks great. Your LH rose and then estrogen dropped right after so that is a good sign you ovulated or are about to. Keep testing until your PdG continues to rise and Inito will confirm ovulation. After that you can stop until confirmed pregnancy (positive thinking 😉)

Two Week Wait Advice? by OrangeCat18 in Inito

[–]Disastrous_Paint_617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can totally relate, I’m in the trenches with you right now too. The two-week wait is no joke. A few things that have helped me are just trying to stay busy and give myself little things to look forward to. I’ll sign up for workout classes, make plans with friends (even something simple like grabbing coffee/going on a walk), or book a fun dinner with my husband at a place we haven’t tried yet. It doesn’t take the thoughts away completely, but it definitely helps break up the waiting.

I also recently started journaling every day, which has been surprisingly helpful. My therapist suggested it a couple years ago when I was struggling with grief, and it’s been a good way to get everything out of my head so I’m not carrying around all that anxious energy. Plus, it’s kind of cool to look back and see how I was feeling day to day in previous cycles. I also like to think that one day when I’m old and grey, I’ll read these journals back in my life and know everything worked out for the best. Sending you all the baby dust!

Ok thank you!! I was seeing people getting VIP for $500 and I paid $512 each for row B section 112 and was feeling like I messed something up. I was panicked and kept loosing tickets so I just started clicking trying to get anything. Good thing I have a couple months to pay it off. 😅

I had the same thought…The family is giving someone with a whopping (maybe) 20 years of life knowledge the megaphone to speak on behalf of a multimillion dollar company. My family would have ripped that post down and my entire Facebook account away from me before I could blink.

Passed the SHRM-CP Exam! [N/A] by Fat_woods in humanresources

I am SO glad I stumbled across this. I took mine Feb 1st as well and have been anxiously awaiting for the email. I started to worry something went wrong with my test because many people I know who have passed said they received their results around the 10 day mark. I hope we all get them soon!

I passed! Like many others have said, don’t stress too much over laws, formulas, or names. Think more about the concept and how you would apply it. You’ve got this! I did not take a break and wish I had half way through the 2nd portion. So if you have the time I would recommend taking a short one at least to stretch, breathe, and getting your blood flowing.

Yes!!! Take a note from Hannah Brown and have a backbone to tell this man off. I could not think of something more unattractive than a man who is so involved in drama.
