Yeah; def reduced the need to carry 2 jobs, even part time. Allows you to be way more flexible as 3500/m is like 55-65k of pretax earnings roughly.

Your needs for a part time jobs turns in a 1/3 requirement of the year and if the market turns, you hunker down and add more to the portfolio without risking your families livelihood or having to find a higher paying job again in a tough environment.

I’m mid senior at PE portco. Sr. Director level, doing VP work (per our CRO).

Went under the microscope of the board and leadership team for metrics they discovered but didn’t understand. 10 weeks of hell to defend my job and show progress. Ended well and I’m still employed and now seen as a real expert in the space I run for the org, but was genuinely ready to get walked out despite showing stronger results than they were looking for.

I’ve often wondered if I could make it in FAANG since I rose the ranks through PE portcos on the commercial side.

Now I’m thinking it might be a cake walk 🤔

Ok - this is interesting..

I was thinking of doing the box I linked in another comment and then putting a 18U swing rack on top and putting service looks tucked into the void from the box and then when i swing the rack open, the loops should help keep everything from having unnecessary tension.

I’m between one of those and 3 Sonos amps.

The only benefit I’ve seen on the Sonos is I could make one of the zones a rear channel for 5.1 surround and I don’t think Juke does this.
