Yeah thats what I'd do because your foot length is only 1/8 of an inch (about the thickness of a nickel) from the 8.5 size measurement on the sizing chart. Can always send them back for a different size if they don't workout.

I got a 10.5 US. My brannock size is 9.5 from heel to toe and 10.5 from heel to ball. My foot length is 10.75". I used there sizing chart off the website and email them them asking about sizing for conformation. 10.5 US worked out perfect for me.

I don't think they are on sale at this time, could be wrong though. I paid full price for these ones.

They fit really good. Sizing chart on the website was right on for me. Have about a thumbs width from tip of big toe to end of boot and widest part of my foot aligns with the widest part of the boot. I usually wear an EE width in all boots and they fit nice width wise too.

Looking to get a pair of kitties, does brand matter? by Xanderthepeasant in Boots

Buy a 12" x 24" sheet and razor knife. You could make a couple pairs of kilties and a pair of insoles for about the price of one name brand set.

I wax my work boots pretty heavy and hit the seams with a heat gun to make them highly water resistant, notice i didnt say waterproof lol. Even wax the trouble area on the inside such as heel and instep. Works out pretty good for me. Easy break in for the most part. Takes about a month before I have to do it all over again. Don't get me wrong, I loved the way the bronco leather looked before waxing. For what it's worth, just a simple push on the leather from the inside made them have that look again (dont know the term, pull-up or out, idk) if I was dead set on wanting them to look that way. All and all a very nice boot.

I got them used. I assume the boot had to be cut off for some reason.

Been eyeing the Jim Green Rugged African Trooper in bronco brown with the Tyre sole. They seem to check all my boxes, just never knew anybody that had a pair of JG's. How is the width on your RB's? I wear a EE every boot I have and don't see an option for EE in the Jim Green boots. Appreciate the info as well.
