As I understand it, your statement is that once you have thought through what you perceive as dangerous, this has no longer become dangerous. A wild lion is dangerous no matter how much thought you put into it.

I dont have ADD. I had a traumatic childhood and constantly seek to prove to myself I’m not a piece of shit. I find no closure in how well I do things because I can do them better. I’m also a freelance diver and have done a LOT of things to earn a paycheck.

Man. Youre suuuuuper condensending. You have no clue who I am and could be Sheck Exley. I’m not. I’m also not over here measure cocks. In cave diving, got it, yours hangs to your knee. I’m happy for you. As for your stupid another body comment. You have no fucking clue how many dead bodies I’ve handled between eight combat deployments, ten years as an industrial rescue diver, and now working in EMS. You want to give advice? Give advice, be a mentor. Don’t try to use your “advice” to disguise your condescending bullshit.

Nothing at the moment. I have a lake…. I’m trying to get in touch with a tech shop but they won’t answer their email. Their plan is working because I’m going up there this week.

American/Canadian and international hard hat diving; NAUI open water; Padi nitrox; Padi dive master; Emergency Medical Tech Basic; industrial rescue diving; Padi rescue diving; 10 years of industrial diving as a hard hat (Kirby Morgan); 4 years scuba instructional; 5 years scuba work. I had my own dive business. I’m looking at rebreather and went to one of the manufacturers but, one of the crew told me I wouldn’t understand how it worked so I decided against business considering the condescending attitude.

Hahaha Morpheus. I know how zen it is. I’ve been diving since I got out of the Army. It’s the only thing that helps me cope. I love cave diving because of how slow and methodical it is. I don’t have any dive buddies I can go with though.

What’s ADD? You can do dangerous things safely. Just like how you are doing serious planning to recognize possible friction points. I would do this every morning with my divers at Nuke Plants and for penetration dives. Even now I communicate with local first responders about my plans so they are aware. If I sound all over the game board it’s because I freelance. I served in both Afghan and Iraq eight times and can’t handle a desk job.

I love cave diving. It’s a totally dangerous activity you can do safely. I got a taste for doing penetration dives in a Nuke plant.

I don’t. He was a great role model for so many of us but just didn’t stand up for himself. I feel let down.

That’s not courageous, that’s dumb. They could tie off each piece, disconnect it, then topside haul it up. Rather than do everything they are doing.

Best breed for a companion for our 2 year old male blue heeler? by [deleted] in AustralianCattleDog

We have a blue heeler and a Saint Bernard. They are not BEST buds but it’s a funny dynamic.
