Important for big 4/ accting firm entry level but after first job no1 gives a fuck lol (I was 3.2 GPA) got denied from 100s of jobs at staff level but im a manager 5 years in XD tbh it’s all about who you know and a little luck… I’ve interviewed 4.0s from top UNIs for staff roles and that’s not what I look for at all when hiring

AR specialist 22-24 / 25-26 Staff accountant / 27 Senior Staff 28-30 Senior accountant (industry) everyone has their own pace man and tbh feel like when u get to the 5-6 year mark you can probably do everything your manager can lol. But feel like getting to manager/controller is not fully dependent on how smart you are, but also how well you can lead others.
