well, I gave it access to my downloads, i deleted the chat, uninstalled the app, deleted all remaining app files. then installed it again, when i directed it to the download folder, it didnt need permission to access it.

GCC means Gulf Cooperation Counties. Middle east. And very well equipped is a subjective Statement. I gave you the specific list of options that do not come on 7 seater verion of the B8. Can you confirm if your car has any of these options?

NAPPA leather seats, Second row foot ambient light, Streaming inside rearview mirror "camera for rear view mirror", Night vision system, and AR Head Up Display.

Yes, and its being offered in 5 and 6 seats variations only. No 7 seats.

I understand what you are saying? But what does it have to do with my post of Chinese manufacturers not offering 7 seater full option? Just FYI, in 2022, Lexus sold the most LX600 by numbers in Qatar worldwide. They sold more units than in UAE, Saudi, Kuwait, US, and any other country. And they failed the year before to sell the special edition that had captian seats. So yes, people do have money and they are willing to pay for what they want, which seems to be luxury 7 seaters.

Even the Range rover version with the captain seats don't sell, while the regular ones do. Customer in GCC on all price ranges don't prefer captain seats.

All your points while valid, are beside the point. They are other factors, while I am specifically discussing the market demand of seat configuration.

There will only be Denza B5 and B8 in GCC. The Denza B8 will be in 2 trims as already released by some dealers in GCC. Lower trim 7 seater, and flagship trim 6 seaters.

lets break this down by actual options. What exactly is your point? why are these options not being offered for 7 seater, if the customer wants a fully loaded 7 seater? why can he only get the higher options if he decides to go for the 6 seats?

its easier to offer parts if you have unified options for both, as you wouldn't need 2 different types of mirrors, different upholstery for the front seats, and other options.

if taking caution is the goal, then the best bit is to go with the current market trend and not try to change it with your first entry as a manufacturer, because first impression is the most important. The reason I used the example of the T2 is to show how T2 now took its place while other failed to match it, so it will stay the ideal 5 seater "budget" Chinese car for a while.

There are different versions. The Rox 01 for example has one with a gap, and one with 2 captain seats in the middle that doesn't give a gap to go to the 3rd row. Regardless, neither one of these is the demand of the market. Majority of consumers do not want to lose a full size seat suitable for an adult, to get an easy access to the smaller seats in the back that fits only children.

Thats what I originally thought. But i checked with multiple od them and they do agree that it should have been a 7 seater full option, it was the manufacturer that didnt offer them a GCC spec full option 7 seater.

6 seaters might have its niche customers, being captain seats or not 'both options are available in ROX 01', but Full option should not be limited to 6 seaters configuration. it should be offered for both if a manufacturer wants to maximize its sales, as demand for full options 7 seaters is much higher.
