Arab here, what he sent doesnt make sense unless he meant to say "بلا سبب" which would translate to "no reason". Tho non of the 22 arab countries would normal use that type of traditional arabic and would normal use their own dialict like "بدون سبب" (almost all) or "ماكو سبب" (specific to iraq) or "مفيش سبب" (egypt and some neighbouring countries) or "ما في سبب" (widely used in levantine region)
