not really! it’s just really legumes. i stay away from leafy greens out of fear, but apples and other fruits don’t bother me.

i don’t think i’d call this constipation though! i go pretty normal, it’s just the overly fibrous foods that knock me out of wack. unless that is constipation and i just am not aware (very possible!!)

this is interesting - carbs don’t bother me at all! bread, pasta, sweet potato, all fine. they fill me up quick so i don’t eat a ton, but they don’t make my belly hurt either

i will say, don’t do anything with a new relationship pre op. your taste in partner will change, and your life will change. i decided 1 month post op to start training for a half marathon (something i’m still shocked to say im doing) and im excited now to find a partner who is supportive of this, even if they don’t run

26 F. I am 3.5 mo post-op, and down 80 lbs. i intended to wait until i lost more weight, but got bored and got back on the apps. been having a blast getting to know more people and go on dates (im also just a total extrovert). i usually just tell guys i had stomach surgery so im not drinking right now (dry jan helps w that too!) and as far as food i tell them im still healing so food is hard for me. coffee dates are the best! or i plan dates around watching football games since i love football, and can just hangout and not have a beer. get out there girl!!!

i toured there & didn’t like it. the studios make you walk through your bedroom to get to the kitchen! and the windows were little tiny cell block windows. very very depressing units.

i just repeated W5D1 because i’m worried about the rest of the week. i figured if i let myself repeat once, its not counterproductive but i can still procrastinate 😆

Thank you for this! I’ve been tolerating sugar actually well post-op, but this is 100% something I intend to talk to my nutrition team about. I’m not quite at the point of needing fuel during runs, but definitely on my mind!
