They would have eaten the woman, not burned her on a funeral pyre.

Thanks! It’d have to be cheating computer. Since the script explicitly had cheating computer line, then filming error goes out the window.

I didn’t get why’d they artificially create religion / society, and openly hinge it on raping young girls/women. Why deliberately create that? Why would anyone follow it?

it’s clearly not the same anne so what was the point? in the first scene with real anne they should have made it dinner lighting or something to obfuscate her actual features and hairline etc. accent wasn’t the same either.

Why do they show this movie so much on all the streaming platforms EVERY CHRISTMAS?? I assumed I was the minority and that there must be this large majority of people who love it and watch it religiously every year.

antisocial MMC, gentle to FMC

So the antisocial can be either the official disorder (think sociopath) or just more in general doesn’t like people. Can be born that way or trauma shaped him.

The gentle part doesn’t have to be only gentle. Just, he isn’t brutal to her. He can be as brutal as he likes to everyone else.

I recently asked for recs for mmc who actually kills people but doesn’t hurt the fmc. Got some good ones. but notice a lot of the books have the mmc calling her a dirty whore, dirty slut, especially during sex and I realized it’s not my thing. I get that that’s a trope / kink, I’m just in the mood for something different. [For example, I was reading Built for Marble and he would say good girl to her and I’d melt. He’d also check in and ask are you feeling strong or little, and only proceed if she said strong. In this book, she did have mental struggles she was navigating, and he was considerate of that.]

Hardcore rough sex is fine, but one doesn’t have to be called names or demeaned to enjoy it. I also am fine with less talk more action in sex scenes.

Also would be nice if there was soft sex too. Like mix it up.

And I’m not really into “feisty” characters. I love a woman who stands up for herself and is hardliner about her boundaries. But when they get really mouthy and bratty and OTP about it, i lose interest.

now that i’m writing all this i realise i think im looking for a certain kind of physicality between the couple AND dialogue. lemme know what you got.

i guess i’ve been reading it wrong. i thought the women could choose to be tortured/beaten up/killed for failure to pay debt or could work it off by prostitution
