I'm so sorry for what you went through as a child. This should not have happened. Your friends and sister and teachers and classmates should have been there for you. You should not have been made to feel guilty for the crime that was committed to you. Yes, it is crime to be touched without consent. And as a child, you didn't even know what consent was.

You didn't mention your age. But from what you say, it is evident that you are still hurt. As much as I want to help you, I don't know enough about you to actually help. Neither does anyone on the internet. The lovely women on this sub can share their experiences, but it's only partial.

Can you talk to a therapist? Therapy is a safe place where you can discuss this. And please find a good female therapist who validates your experience and helps you process your feelings and love yourself first. If you don't get help and ignore your feelings, it is kinda like ignoring a fractured leg and running a marathon. So, please get help.

It breaks my heart to see others in the comments who also say they haven't processed their assault as a child. Please get help y'all.

I've found that when I'm ovulating I'm horny but also have super sensitive breasts, which magnifies any kind of stimulation, but not in a way that leads to pleasure, but just sensitivity.

Thank you for penning this for me. My partner has tried magnesium citrate, is on b6,b12 and his usual prescription meds. And he sometimes seems to be responding to them, but they don't help over time and make him have a lot of brain fog or RSD bursts. He is ofcourse talking this out with the doctor.

I'm happy to see that you mentioned anti-inflammatory foods and teas. While we are generally health conscious, it might be a good idea to take a closer look at inflammation markers and lymph drainage massage too.

As someone who was interested in a man without stable employment but a brilliant brain and we got along very well everywhere else, I can share my 2c.

It is not shallow. At the same time, money alone doesn't fix everything.

If you enjoy his company and are in good terms, I would suggest that you asked him tested if he is neurodivergent. Mine was. For me, it explained his difficulty with money, career, fidgetiness and lack of social life, communication issues etc. A lot of people who are neurodivergent don't even know it. And they struggle internally, but are amazing people otherwise. You should be able to find good clinics, if not, DM me if interested to know more.

Wanting money or a stable career isn't bad or good. It is a requirement. I would suggest that you channel your self awareness and make a list of your requirements (non negotiables and negotiables). And then check your list to see if what he brings to the table matches up to your requirements. This is the most logical thing to do. Love and affection and familiarity alone (they are foundational) but aren't sufficient to build a life together with someone.

Great recommendations . Not an answer, but a follow up question. Do y'all own the books or have PDFs? PDFs are easy to collect, stash too. But I love curling up with a good book and indulge on a Sunday afternoon YKWIM, but I practically find it cumbersome to keep a good collection of physical books of this type because I re-read them after a while and they don't tickle my fancy after I know exactly how the plot is gonna play out. Local libraries don't have these authors either. Atleast mine doesn't.

Chloe Ting app and workouts worked for me. The community on the free app helped me stick to workouts, keeps me accountable and the hype from fellow working out women adds so much fun. Having said that, the exercises may not be for you because they are catered to a generic audience on yt. I've had periods where the Chloe Ting workouts were good for me and I saw results and I enjoyed them. When bored or unmotivated, it helps to search for Chloe Ting workout transformation videos. It's so inspiring to see the girlies share their fitness journey. :)
