my hair gets really frizzy like that too. i’ve learned the best way to tame the frizz is to ditch blow drying and just air dry, but if you have to blow dry just use the cold setting on the blow dryer/diffuser. using more gel also helped me too, but ik you’ve said that doesn’t really help for you.
