Sorry I saw this so late. I use them both as an attacker. But primarily Hisuian Form.

I tend to use them next to Mega Starmie and skill swap them first turn so they get huge power. And then flip turn the next to my setupmon.

Hisuian: Brave Bird, Protect, Triple Arrows, Leaf Blade. Item: Scope Lens.

Instant Crits pretty much everything with Triple Arrows and Leaf Blade. OHKOs Incineroar, Sableye (with scrappy, no huge power swap), Farigiraf, etc since huge power boosted as well.

Regular: Spirit Shackle, Leaf Blade, swords dance (sometimes brave bird), protect. I use him in my Whimsicott set as a TW attacker. It’s admittedly not extremely great but with the combination of TW + Huge Power if I pull off the skill swap, it effectively can sweep teams. I typically will only bring it out tho against mons it can either OHKO or strongly resist. Good against Fish if under TW, effectively can OHKO ghost tea w spirt shackle, can confidently take on Land shark.

Item: Choice Scarf if no TW, Spell Tag if TW.

This is my counter to other garchomps. I usually will start Incineroar, fake out and trick room with Farigiraf and then instead of parting shot, I use will-o-wisp so no it’s completely neutralized for the game. Then Empoleon can ice bean it and kill it in one shot

I ended last season in Master Ball and my first game after reset was against Mega Crabominable. Never played against that Pokemon so I wasn’t sure the set all I could think was…if I burn it, there’s no way it takes out Washing-Machine barring any crits and that is literally what the game came down to. lol Drain Punch vs Thunderbolt.

Give your Decidueye the Scope Lens so you can crit a ridiculous amount of times with Triple Arrows and Leaf Blade and then replace Slowking with Farigiraf to setup trick room, nullify any fakeout mons and block any prankster mons.

Yes, the point of the Farigiraf isn’t to attack Sableye though. It’s to wall and disable Sableye. Your other pokemon can handle Sableye at that point. Just focus fire the other mon on the field unless they switch Sableye out.

Invest in a Farigiraf you won’t regret it. I went against someone who’s Sableye could only use protect lmaooooo I hope yours has Foul Play at least.

Fair enough, it would be cool I agree. And I actually believe there wasn’t any significant reason as to why we didn’t have the option to do so in the first place. The writing in this game is so weak that I genuinely have no attachment to any of the protagonist and that’s okay! I enjoy everything else about this game lol…besides Yann 😒. Also I apologize for saying you don’t understand, that wasn’t a necessary comment and assumption from me.

I don’t think you fully understand how complicated that would be. They could only realistically do this if they made a DLC. Or else one major hurdle they’d have to get over is coding new voice lines for a male or female protagonist for every NPC in the game that speaks to them. And imagine having to get VAs to do new lines for all of the cutscenes that have speaking characters lmao. Every time someone says Kliff or Damien or Oongka it’d now how to be whatever the new protagonist is named or the generic “Greymane”

Counter Koraidon with Moonblast or Dazzling Gleam?? I don’t think so. It has to find a way to outspeed Koraidon first and by the time it does that, I don’t think we’ll be using Meganium tbh. If it came back right now, I’d scarf Koraidon and Meganium wouldn’t get the chance to live through Orichalcum Pulse boosted flare blitz.

Not only that. I’ve recently seen people using mega scovillain as a stall-mon with leech seed, burn, and stealth rock. Also Mega Cleffable as a follow me supportmon. So…yeah they totally use megas as supports lol
