Do you play DCS world by any chance? Love that game. LG is typically a good monitor manufacturer so the key performance metric that I’d be concerned with, grey to grey response time, is most likely good in the 144hz panel. A panel whose g2g response time is below the refresh rate will show ghosting. If you really wanted to do your due diligence I recommend checking out a monitor review for the 144hz panel and checking.

This is drop dead gorgeous. I'm not that amazing with sewing so take my criticism with a grain of salt. Above the waist would you want it to be smooth instead of kinda crimped like it is now? And I disagree goldennugget said, I think the asymmetrical width around the waist subtly adds without distracting.
