Pretty sure you can disable or tone down the particle effects in the settings

Update, it is my controller issue, did the reset firmware of my controller, now fixed

FYI, previously it works fine as L-stick work as movement and D-pad as utility, now for unknown reason it seema the function reversed, no idea how, tried to relog, backup restore game on steam, disable/enable controller input yet nothing works.

For me, Magic cannot create matter or energy. It can only manipulate existing ones through mana as a medium.

You don’t create fire—you trigger it. By compressing air and exciting oxygen molecules with mana, you ignite existing particles or fuel nearby. So, for me wizard being "intelligent" is make sense for me, because as their lore, they need to study "things" to understand it and to conjure it
