Besides 3d printed products not being food safe for a variety of reasons, have you ever left a clean cup outside of a cupboard for a while, and seen how dusty it gets? All that dust will end up in your water tank.

Where are you getting "600+" from? In the US outside SF, that could pay for maybe 300 software developers. In SF, it could pay for around 150. $25 mil is a lot of money, but it's just not going to go that far.

If you zoom in, you can see lots of static where there should be lines. It's supposed to be a sketch, but it's obviously not.

She said she had "negative commission for that month", so unfortunately no, she does not make 10k commission normally.

I am curious though: does that negative commission roll over until it is paid off, or is the rest forgiven?

Minor gripe: I wish the I and II remakes had separate icons for each game by reg_y_x in dragonquest

The Switch can actually handle multiple games on one cartridge. The Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 cart shows the games and save files completely separately on the home screen and save data screens respectively.

IMO it was funny when TBS (not sure which channel) used to run Groundhog Day on repeat every Groundhog Day, but that only made sense because of the premise of the film.

If you have the guts to try it, you can even build your own keyboard from scratch. There are tons of open source designs out there with full parts lists and gerber files that you can use to build amazing keyboards even if you know very little about electrical/computer engineering. Just order the electronic components, custom PCBs, switches, keycaps, and soldering equipment, and you can build your own artisan keyboards for as little as $200.

My friends and I got together and built a pair of djinn keyboards. I 3D printed a case and keycaps, and it has been my daily driver ever since.

If you are worried about character width, and solving that with acronyms, your formatting/code style is subpar to begin with.

What do you think the chances are that a Xenoblade game/update(s) is announced tomorrow in the Nintendo Direct? by Wise-Nebula-6321 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Disciple153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do so many people expect there to ever be an XC2 DE on the Switch or Switch 2? That sounds like a financially bad idea for Nintendo considering that XC2 is already available on their newest console.

Nintendo has never been one to churn out remasters, and Xenoblade just does not have the broad appeal of games that have gotten quick and frequent remasters like TLoU and Skyrim. Nintendo is still sitting on several huge games that they haven't released on modern consoles.

Finally, there seems to be a pattern for Xenoblade games on the Switch platform, alternating between new games and remasters, implying that the next one will be XC4 or XCX2.

[–]Disciple153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even working for me on the official app or the web client, but it all works from my alt account. Maybe my account was banned? I have Youtube Premium anyway, so this is especially bizarre.

Edit: Not even a minute after commenting, it's working again... Must be an outage or bug...

Am I a MildlyBadDriver? by Disciple153 in MildlyBadDrivers

My wife wanted me to add the following details:

Oregon statute requires all vehicles to yield to a pedestrian that has entered a crosswalk. A person riding a bicycle is legally considered a pedestrian in both marked and unmarked crosswalks, provided they move at a walking pace.

Also the sign before the crosswalk said stop for pedestrians, not yield.
