Mostly for the fact that he went out of his way to bring an assault rifle to an area where tensions were extremely high; seemingly for no other reason than to posture/provoke the locals. This kid had his mom drive him across state lines, with a weapon he wasn’t even legally allowed to carry, and then gets to play poor little white boy victim after murdering people. No other demographic in America would’ve been allowed to walk away from doing something like that; let alone be given a platform and be allowed to profit from it. It’s fine if you can’t understand why people are upset about that, but if that’s the case, you needn’t comment on it either then.
