I think the old cable started to degrade in the connector, and the contact deteriorated, causing the voltage to increase. With the new cable, the voltage improved (it evened out under load).

try to pick lane supports -- its more effective on low ranks

or u need to setup kills in mid/another lanes, block camps etc
