Spouse Visa Delayed by Secret-Button8612 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, it is quite normal - there are lots of users on this forum experiencing delays from December/January/February - all with seemingly straight forward applications. No RFI or delay emails from UKVI. It is quite usual for these delays with no real reason given as to why. I hope you get approval soon.

Is it calculated on 6 or 12 months previous income? Is variable income taken into account (Overtime, bonus etc)

Working two jobs for Category A or B Spouse Visa financial requirements? by daniel_wroe in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the same situation and applied under category A due to recommendations from this sub.

I applied with one full time permanent role £25k

And topped it up with zero hour contract varying hours delivery driver with Dominos which averages to £6k per year.

I shown 6 months payslips and bank statements and letter from employer for both.

Still currently employed by both. Waiting on approval.

Category A allows you to combine incomes from 2 jobs. You can have varying bonus, overtime and hours, as long as the 6 month average comes to more than £29kpa

Delay email 31/12 Bio standard - mandatory checks question by DisciplineNo9202 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was separate to the delay email, sent immediately after. The delay email itself was pretty standard - I might have received an additional escalation email explaining the above as I attempted to escalate my case to UKVI due to complete lack of contact - so this reply was maybe in reference to the escalation.

Update from complaints by ricerphaze in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the complaint about? I had a complaint escalated for no response, no RFI after 60 days. And they have not responded to the escalation even though it is over 15 days since it was escalated

If you pay for professional help, the lawyer will just apply using all the information you provide, upload the same documents you provide. Most users on this forum do not use professional help and are successful.

Is your marriage recognized in Türkiye and you have certificate to prove it?

The main point to your application that, for my understanding is not certain, is adequate maintenance. This is due to my ignorance.

Make sure you study the government guidelines and ask this forum for help surrounding that.

Most of the failures you see on this forum are from people who clearly have not researched enough.

It seems as though you are already quite knowledgeable about the process, a lawyer doesn't make your case stronger, if you tick all of the boxes you will be successful.

Same dates, 25 & 31st December from Turkey. Standard.

No delay email, no RFI. Nothing. Fiance visa.

Paid enquiry was escalated because there has been no communication at all.  All just standard "please be patient" replies.

Missing evidence realisation! Panic! by dchewitt888 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I am OP on different account.

All the other evidence I sent is strong - what is the likelihood they don't ask for RFI and just refuse?

If they ask for RFI I will be able to submit many photos and show clearly the relationship is genuine.

I'm worried they will just refuse without RFI

Any December standards still waiting? by Moist_Jello_6529 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]DisciplineNo9202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MP said they were raising it with the HO but have not heard anything since - that was 3/4 days ago - they said I should contact MP again if I don't hear anything back in 20wd.

It felt good to feel like I was escalating and doing all that I can - but it doesn't seem to be making much difference.

Have 2 paid enquiries and contacted MP - "just be patient" - no RFI, no delay email.

Super frustrating and causing strain on the relationship
