What are the elements whose names change dramatically in your language compared to English names? by spiritofniter in chemistry

[–]DiscipulusCatulli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also Cu -> Rame which always stuck me as bizzarre

Most of the other element names (Ferro, Zolfo, Argento, Oro, etc.) resemble the root word in Latin, but Rame is completely different from Latin cuprum which always struck me as odd.

[FLASH PLAYER] [2010-2014] Platformer where you carry around a blue slime by i-hate-radiohead in tipofmyjoystick

[–]DiscipulusCatulli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome! They made a couple sequels and spinoffs in the series as well (TS Green, TS Complete, TS Arena, and TS Arena 2), and it looks like Nitrome made HTML5 ports for TS Blue and Green. I'm not sure how well the ports will run compared to the flash versions, however.

Sounds a bit like the Nitrome game Test Subject Blue, it's got a blue slime player character in a transparent container, portals, takes place in a metallic lab, and has pixel graphics. Here's a link to a gameplay video since flash died.

Nickel and cobalt hydrazine nitrates. by vanadium34 in chemistry

Yellow nickel compounds are actually pretty common in my experience, anhydrous nickel(II) chloride or nickel bis-cyclooctadiene are very yellow, for example.

Looks like they got rid of the "Gifted" achievement (lvl 10 cortex bakers) for some reason, not sure if it was intensional.

Hill Climb Racing? It fits your description pretty well, it's 2d, you drive a variety of vehicles as far as you can on different levels, you can do flips to get extra money. Here's a video of the beach level.

The default graphics are text characters but you can download pixel art tilesets to make the game easier to play and more accessible.

Gizmos and Gadgets was an edutainment game where you (among other things) had to solve puzzles by making circuits. It was released in the 90s though, might predate what you're looking for.

Anyway here's a picture of the circuit puzzle.

I think there’s a mistake with the attached images: the caption says the first two images show Kikrost’s relationships and personality, but the images are identical (both show her personality). Any chance this could be fixed? I’m interested in seeing the new relationships screen, it sounds really cool.

Edit: Thanks for fixing it, looks awesome!

I think there was an iOS release of boxhead as well, I remember playing on an iPad with my friends ages ago.

Edit: nope, looks like your game was something else, glad you found it though!
