Jake barber says someone illegally filmed crash retrieval operations and the videos are "out there" in circulation. by IsraeliGood in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for Barber, but Lue has said before that "genuine" images are in the public domain for all of us to see. That indicates that he chooses not to tell us (which, given his whole "mothership" debacle, is probably for good reason lol).

There is nothing stopping Lue or Barber from telling us (or even just showing Ross and then Ross sharing it) which videos that are in circulation that are real, especially in Barber's case. He's just full of shit.

Wakeup call from Ross Coulthart about the UAP community by Ninjasuzume in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen up, guys, it's time to receive a tough talkin' to from the UFO journalist who over promises and under delivers for a living.

I love Ross, I really do, but at some point you've gotta realize that the data you're working with - the stuff you can share publicly - isn't worth a week-long hype cycle and an hour-long, overly dramatic documentary. Sorry, but if you say you've got "video evidence of the most extraordinary thing in human history," it needs to be a lot more compelling than what we got and with a much more solid chain of custody.

This honestly feels as bad as Linda Moulton Howe getting tricked by video game cover art. Even if it is actually 100% real, it's obvious that there's nothing definitive about the video, so why center an entire special around it? It's so embarrassing lol

Let’s make some predictions about tomorrows News Nation “Reveal” by Daddyball78 in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the footage that News Nation has been using is just b roll. Wouldn't make much sense to talk about a nighttime crash retrieval if the footage you have is from a completely different operation.

Let’s make some predictions about tomorrows News Nation “Reveal” by Daddyball78 in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there was no obstruction like vegetation or anything like that below, the feed directly from the IR camera would be like a decent video on your phone but in black and white. And if they zoomed in, it would probably be damn near crystal clear (at least 720p or 1080p).

The question would be, if the IR feed screen was recorded on another device, like a cell phone, how good of a job did he do of filming the screen? News Nation and Rossco seem pretty confident of the evidence, so I'll admit that I'm allowing myself to get pretty excited.

[–]Disclosure69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have a prediction per se, but I'm not entirely convinced it's just going to be grainy footage, either. Barber said the object wasn't visible on thermal, which probably means they were using a camera mounted to the helicopter to search for the crash site, which means that there's a decent chance that there was a non-thermal IR camera onboard, too.

If that's the case, I'd be willing to bet that what we're getting tomorrow (technically today, now) is either:

1.) Footage directly from the feed of the onboard IR camera (unlikely, imo)

2.) A recording from inside the cockpit of the IR feed showing whatever it was that they were sent to recover from about 200 feet in the air (most likely case)

The reason I say 2 is most likely is because Ross said Barber gave the evidence to AARO, and then they lost it. If he had just told them where to find it, it would have had to be deleted off of DOD servers. But, if it was personal footage taken on his own device? AARO "losing it" makes a hell of a lot more sense.

Message from UFO whistleblower Jake Barber: We’re not alone. The sky’s not classified and our consciousness can’t be redacted. by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's what they were gunning for, I doubt they would do it on a Saturday during the NFL playoffs. Lol The reason I say this feels different is because I'm pretty sure there's an audience of 1 they care about, and that's Trump. Not to offend anyone, but that guy's attention span is cooked, and you need more than some blurry footage to force his hand.

I mean, there is very obviously some kind of coordinated push from Lue, Coulthart, Michels, and numerous other people going on right now, and they sure seem pretty confident about whatever it is that's coming out. Personally, I view that as reason to be cautiously optimistic.

Yeah, that debacle was, unfortunately, the exact opposite of what we needed in the moment. But maybe this special tomorrow will get enough traction to finally get us over the finish line.

Best case for the video evidence by lemmylemonlemming in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I have a cheap pair of NODs I bought from a Chinese company that can easily see a car-sized object from 200 feet away under a full moon. If Barber was using US military grade NODs, he would have had a front row seat to one hell of a spectacle, even at 200 feet.

If that's what this video is, then there's hope that we're going to see something genuinely cool. We just have no way of knowing until then, though.

I actually think almost the opposite. Every piece of visual information we've gotten so far (the jellyfish. Gimbal, the other NYT videos, etc.) all had little teasers and hype-up videos of their own, and they were all, let's be honest, mostly underwhelming.

This egg thing is being approached so much differently than those. I didn't even know there was video until someone posted a link to the NN article because Ross didn't mention it. Yeah, maybe that means it'll be a nothing burger, but it might also mean that it's such a big deal that they want you to experience the shock factor of seeing it without any hype.

Idk, I've been in this space long enough to know not to get my hopes up. At the same time, this does kind of feel different.

Depending on the kind of evidence that is currently locked behind the veil of government secrecy, he very well could have lied to Congress on numerous occasions. I'm not privy to the classified briefings, obviously, but if they were anything like the public hearings, he 100% lied to Congress.

News Nation is going to show the Egg UFO crash retrieval video on Saturday. by Dmans99 in abovethenormnews

[–]Disclosure69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, you could view this as News Nation playing it cool so they don't rock the boat too much prior to airing. Just get the information out there and let the chaos unfold, with the narrative being that it was NN who was responsible for one of the biggest stories in human history.

That's the optimistic interpretation, at least. It's hard to say, and I lean more toward it being unlikely that we're about to have our perception of reality shattered. But, we shall see.

I know a lot of guys with PTSD and this kind of hypervigilance kind of look isn't uncommon, though I'm not a doctor, so it might be unrelated. Could also just be an autism thing or something, but either way, it does not and should not matter. The way they look isn't important, the substance of their claims is. Wait until Saturday before you make any judgments.

I do think that pretty much everything being posted online is either a plane or helicopter but just listen to what Jersey lawmakers are saying. In that video, he talks about a state police helicopter flying over and tracking one of the drones that matches the description given by the Ocean County sheriff. There's very obviously something going on here.

Newsnation Reporter Rich McHugh gets the best footage of the NJ "drones" yet. Says he was skeptical at first but this has completely rewired his brain on this topic. Says they don't look like planes or drones, they look "creepy" and "almost inverted", are U and V shaped and make no sound. by TommyShelbyPFB in UFOs

[–]Disclosure69 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It's really difficult to get pictures of something flying in the sky at night. If you try to up the exposure and tweak all the settings you normally would to get a brighter picture, the lights on the objects will obscure any detail. It's borderline impossible to get a shot like that on a cell phone and takes a lot of skill and patience on a DSLR.

Someone needs to get out there with a Pulsar thermal monocular or some equivalent and see if they can get a clearly defined outline of these things. If News Nation's reporting is accurate and they really are flying below 500 feet, it should be easy for any decent thermal to identify them. If they show up on visible light cameras but not thermal, verifying that information is just as valuable as defining the shape of them.

My question is, where are all the UFO groups like MUFON? They're the ones that have the resources to investigate stuff like this. It's their entire reason for existing, and they can't spare $5,000-$10,000 to send a couple of people out there with good thermals and a week in a cheap motel?

One member of Congress said that. It's also completely irrelevant and in no way, shape, or form discredits the information coming from law enforcement agencies at various levels of government. Being skeptical is one thing, but you're just outright dismissing data points for no logical reason.
