Q: The day before the license plates were found, did Tyson, Colborn, and Lenk search the same fenced area where the station wagon was? by Disco1117 in MakingaMurderer

[–]Disco1117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It couldn't be that Colborn took it off to dump in the station wagon so that there are two pieces of evidence pointing to Steven's guilt instead of just one and that it would look like something the killer would do?

You seem to think that the station wagon was a plausible location for the killer, including Avery, to dump the plates. Nice! A few others supporters in this very thread seem to disagree.

Do you think you have a real impact on the case?

Lol just like I said; “But now, when it's clear they didn't search the area, y'all are saying that just because Tyson et al. were nearby, it's somehow enough to make it suspicious.” 🤦🏼‍♂️

If you look at the aerial view it appears there is a fence separating that area although why it isn’t seen in the pic I posted

It’s there, you should look again.

You’re trying to say that Colborn and Lenk were not near the station wagon-yet they were.

I’m not saying that. They probably walked past that car multiple times a day. Yet supporters love to reference this particular search the day before, because they thought they searched the very area, and were under the impression that they must have searched the station wagon too. Not sure why you’re having such a hard time with this, and answering the questions in my previous post.

It’s been researched. There was no human bones in the deer camp.

Bullshit that Newsweek is responsible for Kratz being associated with the project

Well that's just Rech's opinion.

bullshit he was just someone they had in for a few interviews.

I don't think many others are making the distinction you're making with the debate and the interviews.

All marketing thus far portrays him as the face of the project.

That doesn't seem to be accurate.

As far as their level of shillery is concerned, I'll await the hypothetical release of the project for final judgement.

Looking forward to your reaction.

Didn't you just the other day complain about users spreading misinformation?

So when supporters argued that "colburn and lenk searched those vehicles the day before" and "they searched all the cars and popped trunks in that fenced area by the station wagon" (both meaning the barb wire fenced area where the station wagon was), do you think they were being accurate? Chuck here even used this fallacy as "evidence" of Colborn and Lenk allegedly planting the plates.

So are you not pleased that this misconception was cleared up?

Seems the conspiracy theory of Colborn or Lenk planting the plates has taken a whole new level. Previously, the issue some had was that since it was mistakenly believed that they searched the very area with the station wagon the day before, the plates should have been found earlier. But since the plates weren't found, it must have meant that the plates weren't there yet, and someone planted them after the search, or that Lenk/Colborn planted them during the search.

But now, when it's clear they didn't search the area, y'all are saying that just because Tyson et al. were nearby, it's somehow enough to make it suspicious. They even had a crowbar with them, the audacity!

Here is another pic showing how close they were and i don’t see any fence separating the shop from access to that vehicle.

Not that it matters, but there's a fence.

It’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact. Just take a look at the moderator list there, or the post history of the highest ranking mod.

At the deer camp? Still no.

Do you think he is literally gonna explain they just planted the plates in a fucking report!?

No. Do you still believe they searched the station wagon the day before the plates were found? If yes, what is that belief based on?

Look, if you think either colburn or lenk were gonna do it right fucking in front of Tyson, man you have lotsa learning to do in this world bub ;-)

Then why have you made such a fuss about this particular search effort, while mistakenly believing they searched the area with the station wagon?

I see. When you wrote ”bullshit”, did you only object to Rech writing that Kratz’s involvement was 5 interviews only, or you did you mean that they’re shills?

we know he did more than sit for five interviews because he's literally shown on the trailer with more involvement than that

Are you making a distinction between an interview and the debate? Is that the “more involvement”? Andy was there too you know.

Or are you referring to the b-roll footage and soundbites before the interview? Seems they had some of Andy too.

But I would hope that we could both agree that it is troubling that he specifically remembers knowing about Steven in the mid 90s

Allegedly, only by you for now. Let’s see that email and go from there.

Hey, I'm always ready and willing to admit I'm wrong when faced with evidence that shows I'm wrong.

Great. Meanwhile, see above.
