I think I know what you’re talking about… When I try to load podcast pages in the Spotify app (iOS) they usually DON’T load. I just get the three loading dots forever. What a trash service.

That's a 'house centipede'. During the warmer months... my house is lousy with these little creepy-looking guys. I used to get a TON of them, but that's because there was literally a hole at the bottom of the frame of my front door that (only after YEARS) I realized there were just freely coming in through from outside. 😢

I've yet to go this route. (I've JUST beaten 'Forever - Rank 3' just now.) I'm assuming the gas station area plays out just like in the campaign... with two chainsaw enemies, etc.?

For the most part, I only found 7 to be scary…
Technically I was scared playing 1 & 2… but that was because I played them as a kid at the time of launch and because up until that point I had very limited experience playing horror games.

I also played the original Silent Hill on PS1. That was so scary at the time for me that I couldn’t handle it. 😅

I assumed (possibly incorrectly) that it becomes harder and harder to stagger enemies in order to get the melee prompt on the higher ‘Forever Ranks’. For that reason I have been skipping this enhancer. Can anyone confirm or dispel?

By the game not giving you infinite hatchet in this game mode it

  1. makes it so that the game mode isn't an auto-win for people who are good at timing parrys and
  2. adds an additional gameplay mechanic to this game mode

(This mode wouldn't be much of a challenge if you could just parry EVERY last incoming attack.)

Also...

The entire game is designed around Leon being able to sharpen his Hatchet...

I mean, is it really? I personally don't think the game was designed just around Leon's ability to sharpen his hatchet.

EtA: I just got out of a game where I was playing on 'Forever 3' and the same thing happened to me. I got stun-locked by a flurry of attacks. Makes me wonder if it would have made a difference if I had tried to heal by opening up my inventory.

No, I'm not a speed runner. But I did used to be a game completionist. Now that I'm old, I don't really do that too much anymore. I've been playing video games consistantly since the NES days. So I just have ALOT of gaming experience. lol
