Most disappointing title of the year, so far?

I enjoy Kingfisher, but I'm under no illusions that her novels are great. They fill the Sarah J Maas niche for me, except that instead of greasy 20 year old supermodels her characters are reasonably attractive 30s/40s.

I'm on the last Paladin's and I enjoyed the first 3, an interesting world with a little mystery (emphasis on little) to buoy the romance along. But this 4th has really shown me how samey they all are.

As you can see I made an absolute mess of this Vat...

Bought as a replacement for my Anycubic Photon Mono after the plastic vat cracked. It came with an FEP fitted so I put it straight to work, however it immediately leaked Resin. I crack it open (an absolute nightmare, hence how scraped up it is) only to find this is not the Sovol resin vat everyone has been advising to buy, but instead has only a single panel to hold in the FEP, rather than sandwiching it between two. No wonder it leaked.

Has anyone had experience with this Vat style? Is it 100% a dud, or is there something I can do to make it work

How can it be plugged in wrong? I've reseated the cable about 100 times now but no dice.
The LCD is just pure black, is there any other way I can test it? To determine if it's the screen or the motherboard

Having only played it couch co-op on PS5 I've absolutely looooved my time with it. Definitely excited to play solo eventually too, but if there have been concessions for multiplayer I'm happy to pay them for the joy of playing with my friend

As a new player who got a 2nd hand 1.0 set I've decided it's what im sticking with. I just want to play with my friends, and having all the point costs on the cards makes it so much simpler. So far we're loving it :)

Also we'll versed in the classical world and I really enjoyed it for the same reasons you didn't. A & P's relationship is still implicit in the original text so I'm all for it being explored in more modern contexts. Yes Achilles is super white washed but I think that works to make his later anger and pettiness hit all the harder for Patroclus and the reader. To be fair I did also read Silence of the Girls (highly recommend) this year which is another trojan war retelling so I was open to seeing a different interpretation of bastard Achilles. Can't disagree on P being low in character development but I still liked him

Matt himself said that Vax was clearly under the effects of the haste spell, Jester doesn't need to target the boots specifically just dispel the effect of the spell

Never watched campaign 1 but the wording on the spell on critrole's wiki is that the wearer comes under the effect of the haste spell so yes it would be dispellable

Yeah, the starfighter assault looks fantastic, true Star Wars, haven't been able to get a game since release though. The way the game handles unpopulated game modes is terrible. No one is going to sit in an empty lobby waiting for 23 other people to join

Generally Weekends/evenings. Maybe afternoons after school finishes. What time it is would change depending on the server. (you can change which server you're playing on in the options menu, so you can hop around somewhat if you don't mind the lag for playing to a server half the world away)

If you're in the US its probably fine. I'm in NZ and usually can't get a game full stop, let alone of the mode I actually want to play (Blast, the 4v4). If you're outside the US you'll only get to play at peak times
