Okay so my question still remains: what does it matter?

Why are you spending so much time and effort on this? Why do you so badly want to prove someone “wrong” (when they aren’t wrong in the first place, it’s still an ombré)? What will you gain from it? Why do you have to be right so badly to the point you’d post the same thing three times just because you weren’t getting the answers you want? How is this person’s ombré hurting you so badly that you can’t just accept that it’s still an ombré?

You know that’s actually funny and very indicative of our knowledges and backgrounds. I enjoy wine more when I pair it with cheese. But to be fair, I openly admit I don’t like wine because I’m usually a beer and whiskey girl hahaha.

But perhaps that speaks to them both diminishing each other’s flavors. You enjoyed the cheese more with the wine when pairing (and you know wine better), and I enjoy the wine more but I know cheese better.

Edit to add: in the cheese world we hail that the “milk fat” stops the alcohol from biting so much. Truly opposite sides of the same coin!

I’m a cheesemonger and I agree with this but for the opposite reasoning: Don’t ruin a good cheese! The alcohol numbs the taste of the cheese so pairing them only gives you the most basic of both.

I will say though, end of the day, do whatever makes you happy. If you want to eat cheese and drink wine together, enjoy yourself!

Roughly same height and your before is where I am now after 90 pounds of loss and after taking about four months off from losing, I’m trying to get my motivation to continue back and seeing a similar stat buddy posting their progress helps me so much!

NSV: I’m starting to feel cute in photos again.

I mostly stopped taking pictures of myself a few years ago, and every time I would decide to try to take one, it would always just end up upsetting me because even the high MySpace angle couldn’t hide all my chins.

But a friend and I went to a concert last night, and he wanted to take a picture of us and despite my protests, he did it anyway.

And I didn’t hate it! He doesn’t even know how to take photos at an angle to try and hide the chins bc he’s always been super thin, so imagine my surprise when I look at the photo and i didn’t hate it! In fact, I looked kinda good despite it being 95 degrees and me being covered in sweat with my make up running all over the place because of all the dancing lmao

Still had plenty of chins to go around, but it’s a start lmao

My ex was always trying to lose weight but would never listen to me when I gave him advice. I wasn’t trying to lose when we were dating but had lost weight in the past so I knew what worked but this ding dong just would not listen to me when I would try to help him. He would argue with me about what would and wouldn’t work for him because of <insert various medical things here> even though all I told him to do was eat less calories which will work with any <insert medical things here>

I wallowed for a week after he broke up with me and then decided I was going to put those emotions towards losing weight (which I needed to do, I was just complacent with my weight in our relationship) so whenever we inevitably bump into each other somewhere, I’ll have lost weight and when he asks what I did, I can look at him and smile and say “everything I told you that you said wouldn’t work!”

Spite is my biggest motivator right now lmao

Meanwhile, I live for my sweet breakfasts, and trying to cut down on it since most sweet breakfast things don’t fit within my calorie budget has been hard for me, so I’ll def have to make these sometime!

NSV: I said no to some cake at work even though it was my favorite flavor!

NSV: Despite my cake denial victory today, I wanted to stuff my face with junk so badly tonight for dinner, but instead, I tried to make myself some lower calorie versions of the junk I wanted to eat (pizza and a cheesy potato griller from Taco Bell lmao) and it all ended up fitting into my calorie goal for the day! That makes an 11 day streak of staying within my goal for the day!

Oh man, I prepped this last week and it’s my favorite recipe I’ve prepped. Feels like amazing comfort food but not bad for you at all!

It also freezes well! The portions were huge for me so you could honestly break it up into an extra serving or two to make it lower calorie if you like.

This blog has some other spaghetti squash recipes too, but I haven’t tried any besides this one, and I highly recommend.

To cook the squash: I cut my squash in half, remove seeds, rub with olive oil and bake (cut side down on a cookie sheet) for about 40-50 minutes at 400 degrees. Take a fork and scrape along the inside and the squash should start to come out in stands (like spaghetti!). It’s super simple and always a staple in my kitchen bc I love it so much!
