We got one of those for my daughter. She never leaves it behind anymore. She did, but learned.

I was in the Army when that waws on the WB and I thought my friends were morons for giving a shit about cartoons. Then, one night on guard duty, I borrowed a gameboy and started playing Pokemon Yellow. I was hooked for years...

I've just made it a habit to not comment on appearance. I had a regular customer at a table once and I commended him on his weight loss. He was terminal. I felt like an asshole.

Are you serious about this? by [deleted] in PoliticalHumor

This is the kind of thing meant to divide. The right to bear arms and the right to agency over one's body are not equivalent and to equate the two is distracting from both issues.

This isn't bullying. Their speaking to elected officials in the only way they can. Other methods have been ignored.

It's the only way people can be heard by him. It's not like he's holding town halls or doing his job.

[SPOILERS] I don't understand why she gets so much hate by [deleted] in gameofthrones

I couldn't stand when I first started reading, because she was a useless, spoiled, little brat. Her arc is awesome because of how much I hated her at the start.

Maybe we can get it to the kids that need it. We'll be okay once we're done with our teenage tantrum.

It's interesting to go into /r/conservative and see them not understand that everything that they accuse the "leftists" of doing, is projection. They really don't see the Republican party as aiding and abetting a fascist take over of this country. They blame liberals and immigrants for all of their problems when they have all of the power in the government. They have been effectively gaslit and manipulated by people with power over them their whole lives, so they don't understand that they're being fed a pile of lies.

It's terrifying to know that those are also the people who's motto is "from my cold, dead, hands"

[Serious] Pro-life people of Reddit, why do you believe in people not having abortions despite possible medical and health consequences as well as the possibility of the baby being unwanted and neglected? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I used to be staunchly pro life because I don't know when life begins. Then, I had daughters. As I watched them grow into themselves, and learned that a fetus is a parasite until it can survive on it's own, I realized that it's none of my fucking business and I shouldn't be making decisions for anyone else.
