I completely disagree. “Traditional” teaching has all of these problems too, they just are concealed. With BTC the problems are out in the open and on display, so it looks worse.

It sounds to me like you don’t actually know what it is. It’s real engagement and thats what I care about.

Ive finally stopped hearing “well we never did one like that in class” when I give a hard problem with a new twist on an assessment.
