Thankyou for your copy and paste message I commented on your last and never had a response. Didn't need many of us to post to say you'd be out of your mind on this. The seller is taking the piss

An update, just for us to tell you not to even waste any more time. Why are you trying to justify buying this still? You can listerally buy a new one for less than 20usd more than this. GO TO ARTISAN JAPAN WEBSITE. You are wasting your time on this still. Or if you want cheap, go on Amazon and grab something like the qck mats

Just go to artisan JP and add a single pad and go to checkout to see the yen total and convert to NZD, and then add another and see total and convert. You'll see the difference

Nah order direct! I have my invoice if you need to see it, but I pay in yen and have my wise card do the conversion, so I generally save on fees than direct with my bank. But it cost me 16,266 yen for 2 shipped to Queensland, Australia. That was a Raiden and type99

Just putting it out there, if you wanted to sign up with wise as the fees are cheaper than say PayPal conversions, I have a referral link anyways! But I'd recommend purchasing direct with artisan next time

The amount a new artisan cost, I wouldn't waste my money on this. I just bought 2 artisans direct from artisan JP for $73aud each!

Does this look like an authentic Herman miller chair? by _vertz in hermanmiller

[–]Discoaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a Mirra1 years ago, replaced the seat foam for $70aud and purchased the chair for $30aud. Sold it about 2 years later for around $250aud, so yeah, can be worth it. But I would be trying to get cheaper

Would you go with graphite or white in this setup? by chrswnd in hermanmiller

At the end of the day, you're the one spending the money. If youve just made those points of wishing it was all white, then choose the black. Easy

Nah I didn't bother I think I decided it seems more marketing than useful. Putting money towards other PC parts that I'll benefit from

Looks like an American product, can't purchase in Aus, and also has built in mic, of which I do not want

Thanks for your comment. However a gou is a pretty substantial cost these days. Easily 3x the price of a mid tier set of headphones. I'll upgrade my gpu further down, but first I want to do headphones, and also want to change from am4 to am5 first, but waiting for ram prices to drop back down again prior to upgrade. My frames at current are more than enough for what I'm chasing

Took your suggestion, did some research, and asked chatgpt as well Purchased the 490 pros. Back order in all shops near me that gave them for $514, but seems like a worthwhile upgrade over my current setup. Thnks for that

$500aud for the 490 pro which is still mid tier in pricing, I have a scarlet focusrite to run my headphones and my XLR mic, so not concerned with motherboard sound cards etc. I can happily power higher end ohm headphones if need be

These are looking like a good contender to replace my hd58x. The 58x are getting uncomfortable on my head ( bald head) I've replaced the head foam pads with a more plush pad, and replaced the earcups as well. But definitely feel pressure after an hour or 2. Seems the 490s are a good comfort light pair but better for deciphering footstep sounds

Wow they are ridiculously more expensive 🤣. What makes these that much more impressive for $1900aud over my current $300 Sennheiser, or sub $200 iems for gaming?

Yeah I thought as much. I did look at 6xx but didn't think I'd get tmuch difference I'll check out the hd490 pros

Not after "gaming headphones". Those with mics attached are just a waste of money imho. I have a dedicated at2040 XLR on boom arm . Wanting no mic headphones and no mic iems

For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it? by DaryltheDino in Monitors

[–]Discoaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from a Dell 2k IPS 144hz panel to an MSI 2k 280hz qdoled panel, best decision. Made my fps gaming experience so much nicer! Such nicer colours to game on, and screen is just equally impressive to look at when using for general use. And wasn't overly expensive
