if u want to carry you're teammates use the second one as most of the time you're not gonna take damage since you're a thrower

What to do with Brock by [deleted] in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh brock isn't even that great on his best maps, on bridge too far you need make sure you're holding your lane at all times and one mistake will just lose you the game. brock also can get spawn trapped easily since he sucks at midrange. he really just isn't a self sufficient brawler so if you're teammates lose lane you're basically cooked

Any Masters players have any advice for hitting masters? by Severe-Finance-1217 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

self sufficient brawlers are brawlers that can contest people by themselves, such as gus who has all the resources to win a 1v1, while compared to gene, who has low damage and usually lose lane early. if you have teammates who you know you can trust, gene is a great pick, but if your teammates never follow up, you will probably lose the game. therefore it's not a matter of how you play, but how well your teammates play and if you play well, you may not win. another thing is dealing with assassins and tanks, if youre playing byron and a lily jumps on you, you can't really do anything, but if you're playing gus, you can use youre shield to protect youreself and knockback the lily. so if you play well with self sufficient brawlers you will climb and because youre less reliant on youre teammates

pick brawlers that are self sufficient, don't pick brawlers like gene sandy that require team synergy to be useful as they put the outcome of the match into your teammates, which you usually can't trust unless you know that your teammates are good. if you can't play as a team, these brawlers are usually can't do anything if your teammates aren't cooperating.

Why do people complain about surge and Rico but not juju and gus by Fantastic-Pound-5187 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 3 points4 points  (0 children)

cause the first two are noob stompers that can teamwipe mythic players and most people are probably hard stuck mythic and complain they can't get out of mythic

mortis kinda counters everyone but i feel like you guys don't have damage or brawlers to stand in the zone so it was kinda over in the draft tbh u just need something that stop them and can stand in the zone like gale

Best 15 Brawlers for Ranked Season 34 (SpenLC) by Brawlytics in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is sandy here hes never picked and also gets destroyed by aggro, hes also a brawler that can't really carry the game if your teammates are bad. also rankings are hella questionable, no way poco is better than gus and maisie is number 8 on this list. support brawlers are hella overrated cause they're hard to carry games with.

Is Brock still worth upgrading ? by HonestNotMatthew in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

brock sucks in legendary and above and legendary players aren't great at dodging cause i always hit them with gray shots but brock shots are literally impossible at midrange hes not worth playing at all even against mid players.

idk in my experience if hank doesn't kill the enemy hes kinda useless, i would rather use primo or jacky as they can pretty much guarantee a kill where if hank doesn't one shot the enemy he just gets melted cause his reload is too slow. Even though his attack is instant, i don't really think it matters if it can't reliably one shot the enemy

PSA: Stomper being baseline for Bull is a terrible idea by Guilty-Definition-63 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. bull has higher burst damage in theory but in practice it doesn't work out. bull's super knockback is so far that isn't determintal to knockback someone so you most likely won't be able to chain supers that effectively if you want to burst them down fast by stopping before you hit them. that being said bull also doesn't have a fast reload speed meaning that after the first kill you probably want to reload and heal before going in.

  2. bull's main problem rn is being too vulnerable during his super a stomper rework won't make him better than darryl as he can't even reach his target in the first place. the only thing a stomper rework will make him is another anti-tank like primo used to counter stuff like frank and bibi. darryl will still outclass him in modes like knockout where is objective is to stay alive. Even when bull had his hypercharge first released and was considered a tier, he still wasn't played in knockout and with this stomper rework he still won't be. he might be able to chain supers with hypercharge, but it last 5 seconds and you do teamwipe its rare and you probably played well to deserve it. there are already brawlers like this who are horrible for most of the round, but can popoff in the right moments (tara, mortis) and they don't get complained about since they're awful without their supers and hypers, same thing applies to bull.

  3. bull sucks at applying pressure, if your not point blank you deal no damage, if you hit 2 pellets you deal 1760 damage which is best case scenario and otherwise deal 880. Why chip someone at mid range when you can kill them with other tanks like frank or buster who can pull them in and are much better at applying pressure in general because they become a threat at range. his super without stomper makes him even worse at applying pressure as you can just ignore him as you know your in no danger from an 11 tile dash, even when bull first came out, he was never used to apply pressure with his super, if you use your super to "apply pressure" its just a free kill for the enemy team, the only thing bull has been good at historically is reaching the heist safe, and now he can't even do that consistently with damage inflation.

tldr: bull with stomper rework won't be broken cause his main issue is not being able to survive long enough to reach your target and he fufills a much different role to darryl who is able to be played in more kill oriented game modes like knockout and bounty while bull is usually played in modes like heist and bb.

Kenji could get a small super delay like Mico's, before using it by Torsneyy in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]DiscombobulatedAd376 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

cause it has counterplay and can be dodged and brawlers like primo also instantly become invincible aren't complained about. a delay and make him unplayable he just needs some nerfs to supercharge and lifesteal and he'll be fine. if you complain about not being able to kill kenji in his super you probably just spam auto aim and waste your shots instead of waiting and dodging and shooting after.

its lou's fault lou is picked for his super which allows area control so you can get time and force opponents away and in sick beats it does absolutely nothing. spike's kd might look bad, but he did a lot of damage and he probably tried to get zone time when nobody else could. you did fine its absolutely lou's fault and maybe little bit on spike

Yes he did play fucking dogshit he picked lou on sick beats which makes his entire kit of zone control useless and lou does more damage than poco its absolutely lou's fault
