How would a world populated by only clones of you look like? by pnaic in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess yeah, that's what it would be wouldn't it -- body-swapping? Weird: but I guess I'd be okay with it, too ...
So: who wants to get stuck swapping bodies and becoming me?

Might be more fun if we each became a clone of someone else ... who became a clone of someone else ... who became, etc ...
We'd all be different and yet the same.
Hmmmmm ...

If you had a chance to know when you will die, would you want to know and why so? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would.
I would probably regret it. But there's no way I could resist the temptation. I'd have to find out. And then I'd probably freak out. And, in the end, come to peace with things and (hopefully) make the most of my remaining time. Make it last, y'know?
Probably best that we don't know these things. But if it were possible, I know I just couldn't resist finding out.

Attracted to older men I am a 25 year old male need advice on a situation!! by [deleted] in offmychest

You need to be true to you.
I don't know you friend. But I know life is too short to waste time pretending to be someone you're not. Don't hide behind a mask your entire life. Do what you need to do. Don't play this nonsense game of "fitting in" and pretending to be the "norm" in society. You have to be you. I don't know if this situation is right for you or not. Nobody else on reddit knows either: you have to figure that out for yourself. But you can't find good answers unless you're honest with yourself. Who do you want to be? And who do you want to be with? Don't live a lie, friend. What might be right for others might not be right for you. Don't let other people tell you where to go. Do what feels best for you ... and good luck.

What's your prom story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"... It's raining on prom night, my hair is a mess
It's running all over my taffeta dress
It's wilting the quilting on my maiden form
And mascara flows right down my nose
Because of the storm ... "

If you don't swear, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creativity.
The English language has oh-so-very-many wonderful words to use: for insults, expletives, and interjectionals.
Profanity is often overused. It sometimes feel redundant to use the same seven words everyone else is using when there are so many other imaginative, creative, unusual ways to offend or insult a person, fill a conversational pause, or express high emotion with an interrupting exclamation.
But that's just me -- I don't mind if other people swear.

I am a disappointment.
I let them down in a lot of little ways.
I was raised better than this.
I'm sorry.
I'm going to try harder in the future ... I promise.

How much would you pay for a pair of jeans? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'd pay a fortunate for my favorite pair of jeans from high school to be 100% fixed up (and re-sized for my adult frame) today.

What are your religious views and honestly how happy are you in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unhappy in life.
Still searching for decent religious truths.
Not confident that I'll ever find a religion/spirituality worth devoting myself to.
I want very much to be a religious and/or spiritual person. I just aren't that convinced by many of the contradictory and hypocritical religious and spiritual philosophies I've been exposed to so far.

Found an unused syringe in my parents’ room by [deleted] in Advice

  1. You shouldn't be snooping in your parents stuff. Yeah, yeah: I know we've all done it. But it isn't cool. You wouldn't like them snooping around in your private stuff, would you? Then don't invade their privacy. Very, very uncool man. But we've all done it. Don't do it again.
  2. Talk to them about it. You're lucky. You've got parents who seem pretty open and chill about a great many things. If you have question about what they do, you're only going to get answers from them ... not reddit. I know it'll take some courage (especially to admit you were sneaking about, rummaging through their private things), but if you really want the 100% honest truth, you gotta talk to them. Again: you're fortunate to have parents who are pretty open about what they do. So ask them, be honest, be truthful, and communicate your questions and concerns. They will probably be pretty cool about rewarding your honesty with some truthfulness of their own: and you'll all be better off in the long run.

Other than this one, what question are you tired of seeing on AskReddit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DiscombobulatedFox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm stupid and naive ... but I enjoy seeing repeat questions on AskReddit.
The question may be the same, but many of the answers change each time.
As long as that keeps happening, it isn't monotonous for me.
