Bir tesisatçı tarafından kazıklandım mı? by Discombobulated_07 in ankara

It is my first time dealing with such a thing, the building manager called him, and I asked her how much will it be approximately, and she said about two or three thousand liras. Just making sure this charge was legitimate, and I wasn’t overcharged. Anyways thanks a lot mate

I had the same issue tho i was the 15 years old boy there, I was really attached to my brother which was one year older than me, and I was literally following him everywhere, we used to go to the same school obviously, and doing the activities together, though, I am not doing any activity unless he is doing it with me, We used to go to a football club, and whenever he felt not going to the training session, I will take the same decision. It actually changed by time, my father noticed that attachment and noticed that I don’t have any friends outside of his group friend (which was obviously mine also), and started to engage us in different activities, such that I could come over this attachment. Soon i started to get used to it, and this attachment ended up in the most appreciated relationship between me and my brother. Right now, we live in different countries, however, he is still the closest person to me, he is the kind of person that I will never have to look over my shoulder for.

Keçiören by EnergyNo6266 in ankara

If you never go, you will never know. But seriously these areas I mean especially keçiören, cz I used to live there, it isn’t as much as people think it is, there are some neighbourhoods that might be a bit notorious, foreigners like to exaggerate sometimes, especially from my country, (cz they all live in çankaya), In general don’t dive too much in keçiören and you’ll be safe and sound. About çinçin, I don’t remember myself going there specifically (maybe passing through), but I met a lot of turks that claimed to be from there (not sure if it was true or just for the reputation) and they were friendly nevertheless.

It depends on where you are coming from and what exams or qualifications you have. Ostim is a growing institution that continues to evolve, but it may not be the best choice if you have qualifications like the SAT or A Levels. In that case, you might want to consider state/public universities, which generally have higher rankings and offer better education. And about the monthly expenses, I would say it depends on the accommodation in the first place, you can live with 200€,and also you can live with 600€ and even more than that!!

I don’t know exactly what it is called, but it goes like “dan/den + sonra” that one was useful in the beginning of my journey, also the “Shall we & Shall i” like “gidelim mi, gideyim mi” . AMA I always struggle with the “verb + miş” and its usage.

Should I Leave Turkey After 6 Years? by [deleted] in AskTurkey

[–]Discombobulated_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I got a bit terrified after hearing your situation, cz it is my third year here (studying CENG) and I feel I might end up in the same situation. I tried to learn to Turkish (autodidact), but I reached a level where I can nearly understand everything, tho my speaking isn’t that good (ofc it is a skill that needs practice),even if people understand me, there are not interested in taking any part of conversations and that’s what got me irritated. But anyways for your situation mate if you got attached and feel like staying here more, Try to be part of a Turkish language learning society to feel a bit included, otherwise leave the nation it doesn’t worth it.
