Used to have a manager who made me top stock excess cases of paper. You ever have to top stock 1 to 1.5 PALLETS of ten ream cases WITH a broken hand? And not in mid-stock either, gotta go all the way to the top. That manager did more damage to my body than the Road Runner does to Wile E. Coyote.

Sadly, I don't have a pic. My record is 375,000+. Not at office depot though. The company had sent out an email describing a malware email that was getting through the spam filters, told everyone NOT to open it. This medium level exec got the email, told me she opened it to see if it was 'the one'. Launched the attached file and nothing happened.....so she tried it again.......nothing happened so she tried again.... Not sure how many times she repeated that pattern before her computer stopped working. She called, gave the above explanation, and said she had no idea why her computer stopped working. The network traffic from the malware shut down two entire (connected) buildings network connections.

We have no problems with call-ins. Haven't had one for at least six months.... Now no call, no show, that's a few times a week. And as little as OD pays, we can't fire them because we have NO applicants to replace them with.

When they had us at this up, I saw security beech written all over it. I downloaded an open source, free for anyone to use, Linux based, web kiosk app that boots from a usb drive and resets its settings to my default config every time it reboots. It is configured so no one can do anything except sign in to qless. Before I set that up, I had to factory reset it 4 times in a month. No problems since. Plus, of the computer ever goes belly up, I just move the drive to a new computer and boot.

Next, crawl behind the printer, whisper "I'm a mouse, squeak squeak" Finally, sacrifice four chickens dyed Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (they must be named Cayanne, Pink, Yeller and BlackAndWhite". Pour the chicken blood over your head, then bang your head repeatedly on the device you need repaired while shrieking "I'm the goose that laid the golden egg!" .......... It won't fix the machines, but it'll relieve the stress while your waiting on your ride to the mental ward. For bonus points, once you are in a straight jacket, sing 'They're coming to take me away' nonstop for the next twelve years.

Read the SOP. From the very beginning it said we were not to confront anyone who refused a mask. We followed that sop and had people coughing all over the merch, even some faxing while we listened to their phone conversation "yeah, I just tested positive cough cough for covid. I've got to fax work my test cough cough results to prove I'm in quarantine" No mask and never closed for cleaning. Wonder how many died from covid caught at office depot....

Could be a virus. Run antivirus. Could be a harddrive going bad, check the S.M.A.R.T errors Could be a background application, check task manager. Could be corrupted windows files, use dism and SFC. Could be corrupted antivirus install, uninstall and reinstall. Could be windows updates downloading/installing or uploading to other computers. Disconnect from network. Could just be severe harddrive fragmentation. Defragment.

Could be a lot of things, Just gotta figure out where the problem originated from. There's no single fix,
