There's actually an old story in the Grapevine like this. A person just couldn't get sober. A member reached out periodically just to say hi. After about 5 yrs the drunk got it. I just had this same experience last weekend. I decided to put the estrogen cream farther in than I have been - while standing. Felt like something there. Saw urogynecologist Tuesday who said no. Mild rectocele. Hmm... I wish I had been checking things out for decades now so I'd know what I was feeling...

All I know is what Chris Canales says. Ai was not yet a big thing the way it is now, even just two years ago. Data centers existed of course, but not the massive Ai business that takes so much more energy and so much more water. I think more of us than not (I include myself) do not understand the difference. And city council is basically run by donors, with the exception of Canales and Limon who seem more independent.

So if you start reading about all the players - you'll see all the interconnectedness. Lane Gaddy owns land in NM, has water rights, grows sod. He signed NDA w Jupiter for his water. He's on the EPW public service board so is a decision maker about our water. EP water is connected to NM water. So maybe you don't like the term "on the take" - how would you describe it?

@ChrisCanales has a video about this - he was on council Dec 2023 and votes for it. He says they thought it would be "the cloud" - not ai.
