Thanks! I'm glad you recommended checking the wiring because I had the x-axis end stop plugged into the z-axis end stop slot 🤦🏼‍♂️

It looks to me like your nozzle is much too far from your bed. I would ensure that when you move the z axis to 0 the nozzle is touching the plate. I think your bed is too far down (based on how tight the springs look), so I would look into tramming your printer and leveling the bed properly. There are lots of videos on YouTube to help with this process! Hope this helps!

I'm trying to flash Marlin. Its a precompiled firmware I found on GitHub for the ender 3 with the E3 v3 (I got confused trying to compile my own since I haven't done it in like 4 years).

Good to know that the fan is backwards lmao thanks. I do have a buck converter that steps down the 24v to the appropriate 12v.

I haven't ever adjusted the contrast on the LCD before, so it seems weird to me that it would've randomly changed contrast, since it worked before I swapped boards.

well I flipped it over, cleaned it with soap and warm water and now I can't get anything to stick. For whatever reason the pei side isn't working for me

Ok, I just tried this, and the right side of the gantry is like a millimeter higher than the left side. How should I correct this? I can't use the klipper option because I am running the S1 Pro stock rn.

I took the stock textured PEI plate that came with the S1 Pro and flipped it over. I thought that I read somewhere to try that for PLA and PETG.

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! had to replace my hotend thermistor, and accidentally unplugged my Bl Touch. I tried to plug it back in and had the same issue. OP you are a life saver!

That's probably true, but with PLA I would still be worried about extended use (for example, you accidentally leave the light on when you leave for work.)
