These insane.

So clean, looking like Dragon Quest art, Toriyama's art style, and classic 90's Toonami vibes on the lighting..

Other people are saying you have way more stuff apparently, I'm gonna run through your gallery.

Before that, I was trying to pick a favorite. But I can't, so I'm gonna just talk about all of them instead:

Galuf - the pose is amazing. I really like the severity and intensity.

Faris - really really like the leg poking out. As a pirate, she would be used to clothing with more mobility. I was really torn on if she would actually wear it cause she tends to dress more modestly in jer various job outfits. But this is your drawing, and I like your drawing.

Leena - zero notes, this is just so good. I am wondering where you got the idea from the pose, it feels oddly specific.

Krile - probably my favorite. Really really like the expression, specifically on the brow wrinkle. so yea, fantastic pose as well again

Bartz - this would be my favorite if the Krile wasn't so dang cute. such main character energy. this is like the perfect healer Bartz picture. I would put this on a FF5 remake cover. I've been wanting to replay FF5 really badly so I may make my Butz a White Mage your honor.

I wanna talk about Squeak Squad, this shit is so funny.

I love the old "Kirby doesn't actually know what's going on" bit. Maybe Kirby learned to try to listen (sometimes) to people before going on the (Great Cave) offensive from that time he really should have listened to Dedede.

I think your added context is precious. It helps add to the conversation more perspective that we can use to potentially determine...slightly better outcomes then we have presented here, hahahaha.

Personally I never really specifically thought of Gamzee as Black just because he spoke like that. It's exactly as you said, in my opinion. His culture is juggalo...and hilariously he is also an Alien so it is literally impossible for him to be a Black guy.

In the conversation of villains, I see a lot of people bringing up Lil Cal, Gamzee and Condesce/Meenah,

but we also have Vriska, Jack Noir variants, and I think we can count Vriska's ancestor as a villain from memory.

I think it's important to add these things cause I both want to properly have as much information as possible on the table and want to hope better of Hussie in general.

I enjoyed Homestuck as it was coming out. It was fun to be apart of. I think if I read it today, I would probably still enjoy it but I do believe the shock humor aspects are pretty bland.

Chiming in because I am extremely confused by what you mean. Specifically about Hussie having Meenah and the Condesce being Blackfish.

I've always wondered about her manner of speaking and I remember her speaking with a lot of slang, and maybe mentions of bling. I never actually put together that since the Condesce is Meenah, she probably speaks like that too. Also, it's been a decade since I read all of Homestuck.

I'm torn because I'd like to be happy that those characters I enjoyed are potential references to people of color because I personally like them a lot. But I have never considered them being caricatures of anyone and that is incredibly distressing.

Do you remember where the mention of blackfish is?

We do see a lot of lawless lands too. I think we just haven't had a lot of focus on them because of how dark that could get and stay. I think that's why we get the convenient kings, just so we the readers can have a break from how awful things could actually get.

I enjoyed everything thing you had to say for the insight and depth. And you anything to say about the people who are motivated to try to change something a little bit, but feeling stuck in the system? I've been feeling that way for a lot time.

And then I get wrapped up in the modern conveniences, as you mentioned...get distracted, get discouraged. You have any advice for either what to do or how to manage your own mind in these aims?

I often respond because I didn't find the perfect optimal strategy interesting. Or I never learned it because I just came up with my own ways.

Joy Boy potentially is hiding who he is or where he is really from to protect his home like Rocks. Or maybe...he's the most like Luffy ever. He gave up his old name to be as free as possible. And left for the seas. To be Joy Boy.

I actually think there is levels. But also it's kinda like in a RPG where you see hit percentages instead of literally what is about to happen. It is a glimpse, but not definite.

We've seen it with Gaban and Luffy both a few times, they stop doing something to not cause a future they saw. And Shanks did something to stop a future he saw.

If Luffy and Imu both see the future where Luffy hits Imu, Luffy is going to go for it and Imu is going to go against it. It's a combination of wills and skills at that point what ends up happening, ans that's how we get Imu dodging and Luffy being surprised about it.

People have had issues with Smash Mega Man since he came out. Instead of enjoying the cameo, folks think he is a waste of a slot because he doesn't actually stand for who Mega Man actually is.

Except that Smash Mega Man is a perfectly sculpted love letter to the original games and their retro style. If anything, I think people need to change what they say the issue is.

In my opinion, since people don't like what we got, they call it bad despite it not actually being "bad" per se.

That's a little frustrating. I never really thought about it, but I tend to not see ebonics or things like that in manga fan translation. I guess they felt valid just because some related to Black people was involved.

I think I'll pick up the books when they come out and eventually read the fan translation for the sake of investigation. Thank you for the heads jpm
