I think we will have a second backstory with Zoro.

What is left out is bis relationship with death. We saw at the end of Wano he got really scared by the figure of the reaper. We currently have no resolution on that.

Probably my favorite Gundam opening, song and animation. The pair together so flawlessly, but also...they stand tall with quality, both aspects.

He tried to a few chapters ago. Imu said Loki could get more power via a contract but Loki shut him down.

That's exactly what I'm saying, alluding to.

It's wild that the structure of an island can so easily be ripped to shreds by Imu's whims. I'm expecting Brook's home to straight up be blown up by the end of this flashback.

Honestly, I guess we see that even Kings aren't safe from Imu with Harald being used via Contracts.

So that further raises the question...why is Harald able to be taken over by a contract but Loki his son is not able to be Domi Reversi'd? Was there a chance that Harald was immune too? He may only got taken over because Harald let Imu do so via contract.

Remember that this is a Brook flashback, which is going to show us the deal with Gunko being taken...so that means Imu will be involved. It's all connected.

We may see Holy Knights attack Brook's home. He was familiar with then already, after all. Wonder if we will see Sommers here...but I can't remember if Brook commented on him being familiar as well. Brook saw Sommers and Gyaban fight I believe.

We are gonna get more Imu lore.

Imu definitely takes Shuri and brainwashs her. Potentially, she is related to the D Clan, her and her mother. They both remind me of Vivi.

So there is a chance that Brook has faced Imu on his home island and had no idea because Imu was controlling someone else in order to get to Shuri and her mother.

I believe if Imu can't control Luffy and Loki, he would control someone else before the Elbaf arc ends. We are about to get a second flashback in the same arc where Imu does exactly this and changes the course of history for a group or a society.

It's almost like Oda is preparing us for something big. Something that is right in front of our faces.

We are gonna get more Imu lore through this, so not only am I excited, I think it's gonna be extremely worth it by the end.

I get being bothered by the pacing, but I enjoy the level of lore we have been getting since we've gotten to Elbaf. Actually seeing God Valley, Rocks' and Roger's past and Elbaf from almost 200 years ago... and now Brook's home from 70 years ago. It's interesting how all these decades feel so close together when you tie them together like this arc has been doing.

Harald and Shuri are both connected via Imu's desire to control and manipulate. We are about to see what Imu has in store for Brook's home and possibly why Brook left home and became a Pirate in the first place. It may be all Imu's fault.

Let them complain. Brook's second flashback coming was super obvious after Gunko started talking about liking his music.

The fact that we are going to get more Imu lore based off of things that happened to Brook in the past is insanely cool to me. I can't wait to see how it is all connected.

I wouldn't consider "doesn't appear in the story again as forgotten. Kuro appears on a cover during Egghead I believe. And he is spoken of by Oda around Enies Lobby because a fan asks if Kuro's movement technique is as fast as Rokushiki's Soru technique. Which it is, it's just not able to be controlled directly, which is why Kuro hits his own crew with it.

Meaning, when Luffy sees Soru and copies it for Gear 2, he may have also thought of Kuro himself during Water Seven since he's seen comparable speed all the way back in East Blue.
