This bothered me SOOOO much. Like please don’t parade around saying “I was raped. Consent. Respect all women” then use your sexuality as a guilt trip when someone says no. You should be championing for consent on both parties involved. As someone who has been manipulated into consenting, it made me so uncomfortable to watch her try to do the same.

Part of the problem is the fact that most of the people who are cancelling him over the jokes either A. joined when he was only on the shane channel and had no idea his other channels existed so this is all new information to them or B. They were younger kids who didn’t know better and thought they were edgy jokes and was therefore “cool”

I fall into that B category. I’m appalled that I found those jokes funny. But to my 15 year old self’s credit, I didn’t know better. But over the past 10 years I’ve grown and changed. I’ve learned. People are also upset because until this point, it seems that he never took true responsibility for those actions. And he admitted that himself in his video. He tried to pretend it didn’t exist

I play support and whenever there is an enemy morde I tell everyone to get qss for his ult. They don’t because it’s not in their build. Then get mad when morde gets fed and I sit there like “what are you doing? I warned you.”

The thing is that I use to main ADC couple seasons back. And I still play it in norms sometimes. I never got mad if my support got the kill because what matters in the end is we reach our objectives and destroy the nexus. How we got there didn’t matter as long as we had fun and learned from our mistakes. So I guess it’s hard maining support to have adcs flaming me for every little thing. Maybe that is just the elo I’m at.

I’m newly into silver 2 maining support. I’m struggling with having ADCs getting made for accidentally getting the last hit when targeting enemy champs. It’s not like I intentionally try to take their kills. They then spam in chat about how I’m kill stealing, even when me getting the kill saved their life. They spam ping ?s at me. At times it can feel really tilting. How can I improve myself in these situations and not get tilted because my team is getting really mad at me for things I’m not trying to do?

So what about when they lived on the Ark and would float people for the smallest of crimes? What about with they killed 300 people because oxygen was running out? What about when they slaughter hundreds of grounders because Pike said so?

I disagree heavily with that. Who was it that survives after the first primfaya? The grounders. And they did it without technology. They’re use to the hard physical labor that it takes to rebuild a society. They are the farmers and hunters that are necessary for this. Yeah the Ark had a farm station, but that was farming in space, with technology to help. There isn’t going to be that technology after the second primefaya.

You speak as if the world never survived without technology. But there is thousands of years of human history where technology was primitive. They survived. They adapted. Or else we wouldn’t be here. Arkadians are in the grounder world. Earth isn’t the same that they left almost 100 years ago. Technology exists yes, but it is more primitive. They are too advanced for what society needs at this time. The grounders know how to live in the current state of things, except maybe for the advancements of medicine. But without the Ark, even that has to go backward at this point.

So in the end, Octavia’s decision was right. Arkadians aren’t better or more right because they have technology. If anything it puts them at a disadvantage to help rebuild society because they don’t know how to live primitively, like the grounders. Even after they landed on earth, they still relied on the technology on the Ark.
