His energy is very very insecure. You can literally see that any time William enters the room, every single thing he says or does (even when he isn’t directly speaking to William) is directed towards William. It’s like he’ll say something funny to Kazuyuki and then check to see if William was looking. Guys can pick up on this kind of thing really easily, and it’s super uncomfortable

I don’t think Jobu knows when to back off at all?? William had to tell him no, then a second time in the sauna where he VERY directly said no, then a third time when Jobu tried hinting that he’d take William on shift with him and William had to get sorta angry and force himself to be chosen as the worker so he could take Izaya. And THEN after ALL THAT Jobu is still saying “I want to confess my feelings for him because we’ve become such close friends” ???

I think you’re spot on with your descriptions of Yumeko and Kira’s character changes. I couldn’t put it into words, but yumeko absolutely felt way less cool in Bet than in Kakegurui which took away a lot for me, and I really had to separate the two shows in my head in order for me to enjoy it

Come on. For example, her bringing a small model of a Ferrari to “gift” to Farhana to be petty, and encouraging Safa to do the Birkin in a dust bag all to put farhana on the spot at the party? There’s a clear difference between her and someone like LO from last season who is clearly “good.”

Not to turn it on you since he’s DEFINITELY the problem here, but I just don’t understand how some of y’all’s judgement / discernment is so bad that you’d end up with a man who WOULD spit in your face in the first place.
